Anthony Buchanan 2025 Pinot Gris Rouge
Canadian Red
Made entirely from Pinot Gris, this very small-batch skin-contact wine spends two weeks on its skins and has a juicy character. Fermentation relies on indigenous yeast naturally present in the vineyard and cellar, with minimal sulphite additions. Gentle cellar techniques avoid enzymes, added tannins, manipulation products and temperature control. The wine is unfined and receives little to no filtration.
Black Sage Vineyard 2022 Merlot
Canadian Red
Ripe plum and blackberry appear with vanilla, clove and sweet smoke. The palate includes rich fruit, spice and smoky vanilla, with soft tannins and a long finish. Merlot is destemmed and crushed into stainless steel, then ferments for fifteen days with twice-daily pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation follows. Maturation lasts fifteen months in selected French and American oak barrels.
Pentâge 2013 GSM
Canadian Red
Syrah and Grenache each account for forty percent of the blend, with Mourvèdre making up the remaining twenty percent. Red fruit and savoury, meaty notes accompany red cherry, liquorice, olive, fresh pepper and spice. The palate enters with fresh, high acidity. Maturation lasts eighteen months in a combination of new and neutral French oak. The wine comes from Skaha Bench in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley.
St. Innocent 2011 Freedom Hill Vineyard Chardonnay
American White
Apple, pear, spice and ripe citrus appear in a detailed, focused profile. Fresh stone fruit appears with bright acidity and layers of stony character recalling river stones and peach stone. This Chardonnay comes from Freedom Hill Vineyard in Oregon's Willamette Valley. The profile also includes fruit character, buttery vanilla and a light palate with depth.
Umani Ronchi 2018 Fonte del Re Lacrima di Morro d’Alba
Italian Red
Pepper, pine, anise and pitch accompany ample dusky violet and plum. The profile runs across a very long palate to a dried-herb finish. Lacrima di Morro is an aromatic red grape named for the tear-like droplets that appear when the berries are ready to pick. Fonte del Re refers to a former spring near Morro d'Alba.
Bernard Baudry 2016 Chinon Rosé
French Rosé
Direct pressing gives the Cabernet Franc a pale pink colour. The dry rosé shows white-fruit character. Fruit comes from several gravel plots and young Cabernet Franc vines on hillside sites. Grapes are harvested by hand before direct pressing and fermentation in unlined cement vats. Fermentation continues until residual sugar falls below two grams per litre.
Cuatro Manos 2021 Le P’tit Nouveau
French Red
Red fruit and a grenadine-like character appear in a fresh, light profile. Grolleau and Gamay form the blend, and alcohol is listed at eleven percent. Green-pepper berry aromas and earthy mineral tones are also present; the style is light and ethereal. This natural red comes from Berrie in the Loire Valley and is classified as Vin de France.
Haywire 2021 Pink Bub
Canadian Sparkling
Strawberry tart, tangy lemon and fresh red apple appear with fine bubbles and a light, long body. Old-vine Pinot Blanc is whole-cluster pressed, then fermented and aged in concrete tanks. A second fermentation takes place in horizontal Charmat tanks. Daily lees stirring lasts three months, adding density and palate weight, and a small addition of red wine gives the sparkling wine its pink hue.
Bodegas Nabal 2022 Valle de Nabal Ribera del Duero
Spanish Red
Clove, desert scrub and a spicy balsamic note accompany cassis, red plum, mulberry, vanilla, leather and tobacco. The palate is rich, with a smooth texture. Tempranillo comes from forty- to fifty-year-old bush vines on calcareous clay at 850 metres. Wild fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by natural malolactic fermentation. The wine then spends nine months in new French and American oak.
G.D. Vajra 2023 Langhe Rosso
Italian Red
Delicate ruby-red colour accompanies red fruit, sweet spice, violet and rosehip. The palate is energetic and lively, shaped by silky tannins. The blend includes Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Freisa, Albarossa, Slarina and Chatus. Grapes are picked by hand and sorted manually. Each block ferments separately for about twenty days. Maturation lasts approximately four to six months, mainly in stainless steel.
Château Roquegrave 2018 Médoc Cru Bourgeois
French Red
Violet, blueberry, cassis, raspberry, liquorice, vanilla and toast appear in a ripe-fruit profile, with grey pepper and caramel also present. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with fine tannins, freshness, mineral notes and a delicate finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot make up the blend. The vineyard follows sustainable farming practices in the Médoc.

Canadian Rosé
Wild strawberry, watermelon and raspberry appear in a fresh, dry rosé. The palate brings vibrant red-berry flavours, crisp acidity and a refreshing citrus lift. Syrah and Merlot make up the blend. The fruit-forward, clean style comes from the Okanagan Valley. The winery is based in Osoyoos, and this bottle was one of seven releases drawn from the same harvest.
JoieFarm 2024 A Noble Blend Pacific Northwest Edition
Canadian White
Lychee, rose petals, peach, lime zest and warming spice appear with ripe fruit, soft minerality and a long finish. Gewürztraminer and Riesling each account for forty-nine percent of the blend, with Oraniensteiner and Ehrenfelser making up the remaining two percent. Washington Riesling and Gewürztraminer fermented separately, while Okanagan fruit was co-fermented in stainless steel. Ehrenfelser and Oraniensteiner received skin contact and ambient fermentation.
Domaine Res Fortes 2022 Merlot Madness
French Red
Cranberry, raspberry, red cherry and currant appear in a fresh-fruited red made entirely from Merlot. The vines are forty to sixty years old, planted on schist on a south-facing slope without irrigation. Grapes were harvested on October first, destemmed and fermented whole with twice-daily pump-overs. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and remained in tank until bottling.
Stag’s Hollow 2019 Pinot Noir Shuttleworth Creek Vineyard
Canadian Red
Ripe black cherry, raspberry, violets, tea leaf, wet clay and vanilla appear with earthy, umami character. The palate is juicy, with a silky texture and a black-tea-spiced finish. Pinot Noir from Shuttleworth Creek Vineyard combines Dijon and Pommard clones. The vineyard is in Okanagan Falls, within the Okanagan Valley. The wine spent twelve months in 300-litre French oak barrels, sixteen percent of them new.
Bernabeleva 2022 Navaherreros Garnacha
Spanish Red
Strawberry, raspberry, violet, white pepper, herbs and balsamic notes appear with earthy, mineral and iron tones. The wine is made entirely from Garnacha grown on granite in vineyards between fifty and ninety years old. Grapes were harvested by hand, and fermentation took place with native yeasts in wood and concrete, with more than thirty-five days on skins. Ageing included eleven months in French oak and six months in stainless steel.
Laurent Cazottes 2021 Rackham
French Red
Wild berries and cherry meet a fresh, fine profile. Old-vine Jurançon Noir, also called Folle Noire, grows on limestone and clay. The grapes were harvested by hand, then macerated for twenty-four hours in concrete. Fermentation and élevage took place in concrete. Free-run and press juices were kept separate and blended before bottling, with very little sulphur dioxide added.
Cave de Chautagne 2023 Roussette de Savoie Vieilles Vignes
French White
Pale yellow with golden reflections, the wine shows pineapple, peach and hazelnut. A lively, balanced opening leads to an ample, creamy palate and a long finish. The old-vine white is made entirely from Altesse, a grape native to Savoie. It is classified as a dry white under Roussette de Savoie AOC. The release received a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris.
Maison Kuehn 2022 Les Caves de l’Enfer Pinot Gris
French White
Golden yellow in colour, with smoke, dried apricot, vineyard peach, undergrowth, melon and yellow fruit. The palate is full, with apricot, a light honey note and freshness on the finish. Pinot Gris grows on clay-limestone slopes at Ammerschwihr with east and southeast exposure. Pneumatic pressing precedes several months on fine lees. Residual sugar is 13.2 grams per litre, and alcohol is twelve percent.
Lightning Rock 2024 Coyote Canyon Vineyard Counoise
American Red
Wild strawberry, raspberry, pepper spice, floral tones and a savoury edge appear in a light-bodied profile with lively acidity. Counoise from Coyote Canyon Vineyard in Horse Heaven Hills was harvested on September ninth and fully destemmed. A spontaneous fourteen-day fermentation took place in open-top fermenters, followed by ten months in neutral oak. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration.
Mission Hill 2024 Reserve Rosé Grown in California
American Rosé
Strawberry, watermelon and red fruit appear in a light pink-orange wine. The texture is creamy, with balanced acidity, a clean finish and subtle mineral notes. Merlot, Shiraz and Pinot Noir make up the blend. The fruit came from Petaluma Gap in California. This release joined the Reserve Series as the winery's replacement rosé for the season.
Frédéric Brouca 2023 Clair des Champs
French Rosé
Ripe raspberry, flowers, mineral notes and salt appear with a savoury, meaty character and light, grainy tannins. The blend combines Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Terret Blanc, and its pale colour sits between light red and deep rosé. Much of the schist-grown fruit comes from organically farmed vineyards in Faugères. This clairet-style expression marked the first release of the wine.
Rigour & Whimsy 2022 Maybe It’s Just an Illusion
Canadian Sparkling
White peach, apricot blossom and Asian pear appear in a light, bright profile. Pinot Blanc was whole-cluster pressed before barrel fermentation. The wine spent one year in barrel, then completed a secondary fermentation in bottle with Quartz yeast isolated from Champagne Fleury. It spent six months on the lees before disgorgement without dosage. The palate is crisp and bone dry. This traditional-method sparkling wine comes from Okanagan Falls.
Anthony Buchanan 2019 Wild Ferment Brut
Canadian Sparkling
Green apple, Asian pear and blossom appear with a light-gold colour and soft mousse. Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Gamay make up the blend in proportions of eighty-nine, seven and four percent. Whole clusters were pressed, and the juice settled for two days before stainless-steel fermentation. At twenty-four grams per litre of residual sugar, the wine was chilled and lightly filtered. Fermentation then finished in bottle, producing a modestly sparkling dry wine. Production totalled 208 cases, with 11.5 percent alcohol.
Domaine Pellé 2017 Les Bornés Menetou-Salon Blanc
French White
White flowers and citrus appear in an aromatic profile. The palate is full, rich and tender, with fruit and underlying minerality. Sauvignon Blanc grows on Kimmeridgian marl in vines averaging twenty-five years. The grapes are pressed pneumatically on arrival, then the juice is settled. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by six months on the lees in stainless steel.
Il Poggione 2022 Rosso di Toscana
Italian Red
Ruby red in colour, with red fruit, sweet spice and vanilla. The palate is soft, with pleasant acidity. Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon come from vineyards between 150 and 450 metres. The grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation lasted fifteen days under a submerged cap in temperature-controlled stainless steel with native yeasts, and malolactic fermentation also took place in stainless steel. The wine contains 13.5 percent alcohol.
El Pacto 2016 Rioja
Spanish Red
Forest fruits, liquorice, undergrowth, spice and chocolate shape the profile. The palate is full and balanced while remaining fine and fresh; fruit and barrel notes return in the aftertaste. Tempranillo comes from organic vineyards more than seventy years old in Rioja's Sonsierra. Fermentation was spontaneous with native yeasts, followed by two weeks of maceration and fourteen months in French, Eastern European and American oak.
Domaine Boucabeille 2023 Les Terrasses Blanc Côtes du Roussillon
French White
Floral and mineral notes define this dry white. The blend combines Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Macabeu and Roussanne from schist soils on the Força Real hill. The grapes were harvested by hand in August and whole clusters were pressed directly. Vinification and maturation took place in tank. The wine contains twelve and a half percent alcohol and 0.6 grams per litre of residual sugar.
Bellenda Così È Col Fondo Prosecco
Italian Sparkling
Apple, pear, lychee, white peach, honeysuckle and mint appear with fine, delicate bubbles. The wine is dry, fresh and saline, with a natural yeast deposit that allows it to be served clear or cloudy. Glera from Carpesica grows on calcareous clay soils. Bottle refermentation begins in spring after must is added to the base wine.
Villa Sandi Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut
Italian Sparkling
Red apple and peach appear in a fruity, creamy profile with a light touch of spice. Fine bubbles are present. The palate is fresh and soft, with a gentle mineral note and a persistent finish. Glera comes from the Montello and Colli Asolani hills. Whole grapes are pressed before temperature-controlled tank fermentation and the sparkling-wine tank process. The wine contains eleven percent alcohol.
