Deep ruby-red colour accompanies blackcurrant, blueberry and cherry, with cigar box, soft cedar and spice. The palate is concentrated, with well-rounded ripe tannins and a long, lingering finish. The blend contains ninety-five percent Cabernet Sauvignon, three percent Syrah and two percent Petit Verdot. The wine contains thirteen point six percent alcohol. The vineyard includes old alluvial terraces at Alto Jahuel in the Maipo Valley.

About Santa Rita
Viña Santa Rita has been rooted in Alto Jahuel since 1880, when Domingo Fernández Concha planted French varieties in the Maipo Valley. He brought French winemakers and equipment to Chile. The winery sources grapes from Maipo, Limarí and other Chilean regions.
