AboutWeingut Hiedler
Hiedler was founded in Langenlois in 1856, after Anna Hiedler brought vineyards into a family previously known for tanning and leather. Fifth-generation brothers Ludwig and Dietmar took responsibility for the estate in 2023. Their Kamptal vineyards include historic terraces and sites such as Thal and Spiegel, with Grüner Veltliner and Riesling at the centre of the range.
Hand work, cover crops, compost and minimal soil disturbance guide the farming, which follows organic and regenerative principles. In the cellar, the team uses natural yeasts, gentle pressing and extended ageing on the lees.

Austrian White
Arugula, green pear and grapefruit appear with floral and ripe stone-fruit notes. The body is fresh, slender, pliable and fruity, with a creamy, soft texture. White peach, honeydew, fennel and a confectionery note are also present, and the finish is long. The white wine was raised in a steel tank and contains twelve-point-five percent alcohol.

Austrian White
Yellow peach and ripe citrus lead, with hints of mango and delicate florals adding lift. The palate is juicy and precise, driven by vibrant acidity, clear stone fruit and a subtle saline edge. Taut yet approachable, it finishes with citrus peel and mineral spice, making an elegant match for fish, aromatic dishes, white meats or refined vegetable plates.
