Spearmint and green apple are joined by butterscotch, golden apple, yellow pear and floral detail. The layered profile has a steely edge. Fruit comes from multiple vineyard sites in the Western Cape.
Tremblay-Marchive 2023 Chablis
French White
Chalk-dusted apple, dried white blossom and crushed shell accompany lemon citrus in a reserved Chardonnay. Tart acidity, chalky character and a mouthwatering finish are present. Fruit comes from Chablis, where the Chardonnay grows on Kimmeridgian limestone soils in Burgundy. Organic conversion began several years earlier, and the vineyards had achieved certification before this harvest. The wine is certified organic.
Tesselaarsdal 2021 Chardonnay
South African White
Citrus blossom, sweet lemongrass and lees spice accompany fine, dusty minerality. The Chardonnay has a compact, radiant profile and a long, gentle palate that is expressive, classical and restrained. Fruit comes from unirrigated vines in the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge. Six months of ageing uses fifty-eight percent old French oak, twenty-four percent amphorae and eighteen percent stainless steel. Alcohol is 12.75 percent.
Kumeu River 2025 Estate Chardonnay
New Zealand White
Fragrant, toasty notes accompany a rich, peachy Chardonnay with refreshing acidity. The profile is layered and complex, with richness and freshness present together. Fruit for the estate selection comes from six vineyard sites in the Kumeu region. Warm, dry conditions throughout the growing season produced concentrated Chardonnay, and only selected grapes from those vineyards entered the bottling.
Michael Gindl 2017 Buteo 12 Grüner Veltliner
Austrian White
Frosted grape pulp, underripe fuzzy peach and white spice accompany a long, wild finish. The Grüner Veltliner comes from biodynamically farmed vines in Hohenruppersdorf, within the Weinviertel. Grapes receive ten hours of skin contact before a slow eight-hour press. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in wood, and the wine then spends six months resting on its lees.
Brendan Stater-West 2022 Saumur Blanc
French White
Citrus and saline notes accompany a light Chenin Blanc. Fruit comes from a selection within the Les Chapaudaises parcel in Bizay, on a lower north-eastern slope. Clay, sand and loam lie above limestone at the site. Fermentation and vinification take place in stainless steel, with some fine lees retained during six months of maturation. Alcohol is 12.5 percent.
Borgogno 2022 Era Ora Langhe Riesling
Italian White
Petrol, quince and roasted peach appear with soft floral notes in a bone-dry Riesling. Yellow stone fruit and bright acidity accompany a wet-stone finish. Lime, apricot, yellow plum, hawthorn and menthol add further detail. Fermentation takes place mainly in steel, with a smaller oak portion, followed by time on fine lees, in steel and in bottle.
Bethel Heights Vineyard 2015 Estate Chardonnay
American White
White peach, spiced apple and baking bread meet shaved almond and allspice. The medium-bodied Chardonnay is fresh and expressive, with a core of stone fruit, toasted flavours and a pleasantly oily texture. Bright acidity and barrel toast are present alongside a sleek, supple texture. Fruit comes from the estate in Oregon's Willamette Valley, within the Eola-Amity Hills.
De Fermo 2021 Launegild Chardonnay
Italian White
Pear peel, banana, apricot, chamomile, herbs and straw meet a saline note in this Chardonnay. Freshness and smoothness remain in balance. Fruit grows between the Adriatic and Gran Sasso on limestone and clay soils. Soft pressing precedes spontaneous indigenous-yeast fermentation in oak without temperature control, followed by twelve months in tonneau. Straw-yellow colour completes the profile.
Jean-Marc Brocard 2023 Chablis Premier Cru Montmains
French White
A brilliant golden-green colour with silvery-grey highlights accompanies flint, citrus and spice. The Chardonnay has a supple attack and thirst-quenching lemon notes. Fruit comes from Montmains on the left bank of the Serein, where the site’s profile is cool, fresh and floral. Vinification takes place in stainless steel without oak. White flowers, grapefruit and fennel also appear. The style is clear.
Pascal Jolivet 2024 Sancerre Blanc
French White
White fruit, orchard flowers and subtle smoke accompany a dry, mineral Sauvignon Blanc with elegance, perfume and depth. Fruit comes from chalky caillottes, clay-limestone terres blanches and silex soils in Sancerre. Musts are cold settled without enzymes. Each soil type ferments separately with natural yeast in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats before blending, slight filtration and seven months of ageing. The finished wine carries 12.5 percent alcohol.
WALT 2016 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
American White
Toasted hazelnut, white flowers, lemon verbena and peach appear alongside lemon curd and stone-fruit flavours. The Chardonnay has texture, tension and length, with bâtonnage and ageing on the lees among its production details. Subtle oak and bright minerality accompany ripe grapefruit, lemon tart, preserved kumquat, honeysuckle, beeswax and allspice. Medium body and a long, zesty finish complete the profile.
Patatsfontein Wines 2023 Steen Chenin Blanc
South African White
Wet stone, herbs and earth accompany a fine, linear white with focus and texture. The Chenin comes from a 0.6-hectare block on slate soils at 800 metres. It was racked earlier than previous releases and spent ten months on fine lees in used 400- and 500-litre barrels. The finished wine carries 12.5 percent alcohol and is sealed under cork.
Martin’s Lane 2023 Simes Vineyard Riesling

Apricot fruit sits with lemon and lime acidity in a light-bodied, off-dry Riesling. The finish is crystalline. Fruit comes from a cool, steep, north-facing East Kelowna vineyard on granite-based soils. After hand sorting, the juice receives twenty-four to forty-eight hours of cold maceration, then ferments in stainless steel and ceramic vessels before at least six months on lees.
Cyprien Arlaud 2022 Scritch Bourgogne Chardonnay
French White
A pale yellow colour with silver reflections accompanies white flowers, fresh citrus and a mineral note. The dry white is lively and tense, with freshness and a saline, persistent finish. Chardonnay is the sole variety, and the finished wine carries thirteen percent alcohol. The certified-organic cuvée belongs to a white-wine range vinified in Morey-Saint-Denis from carefully sourced Burgundy fruit.
Martin’s Lane 2022 Naramata Ranch Vineyard Riesling
Canadian White
Floral notes, sea salt, stone, mineral and lemon-lime detail accompany an opulent Riesling with freshness and texture. The own-rooted vines grow over red granite and granite bedrock on the Naramata Bench. After hand sorting, some berries remain whole for pressing without sulphur. Spontaneous fermentation and ageing take place in German oak casks. The finished wine carries 12.4 percent alcohol.
Stargazer 2024 Tasmania Riesling
Australian White
Orange peel, musk and ginger accompany mandarin pith, grapefruit peel, quince and red apple skin. The Riesling has texture and focused acidity. Fruit comes from vines on their own roots in loam over limestone. Hand-harvested grapes receive brief skin contact before wild fermentation in stainless steel, followed by close to two months on lees with weekly stirring.
Stargazer 2024 Tupelo White Blend
Australian White
Quince, rosewater, pear and spice accompany a delicate, perfumed white. The blend draws on Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewürztraminer grown in Tasmania's Coal River Valley. A small amount of residual sugar remains, while the finish is dry. Green apple joins the fruit and floral notes. The still wine carries thirteen percent alcohol and uses a screwcap closure.

American White
Lemon tart, key lime pie and orange blossom sit with acacia honey, baking bread, fresh grapefruit and crushed stone. The medium-bodied white has intense citrus and mineral notes, freshness, a silken texture and a long, perfumed finish. Fruit is sourced from Napa and Sonoma counties, and fermentation uses a combination of oak, stainless steel, amphora and concrete or ceramic vessels.
Jean-Philippe Fichet 2021 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc
French White
Lemon, green apple, apricot, white flowers and crushed rock accompany orchard and citrus fruit on a mineral profile. The Chardonnay has roundness, energy, acidity and texture, with bitter lemon among the citrus details. Fruit comes from parcels in Nantoux and Auxey-Duresses. The wine spends twelve months in older oak without new barrels, while the vineyard soils contain clay and limestone.

Citrus peel, cumquat, wet stone, hessian and sea spray accompany a long profile with crisp acidity. One third of the hand-picked fruit is whole-bunch pressed to old French-oak puncheons. The remaining grapes receive skin contact and ferment in concrete before transfer to puncheons. The vineyard was planted in nineteen thirty-nine on Maslin sands with ironstone pebbles, and the finished wine carries 12.5 percent alcohol.

Spice and mineral notes accompany red apple, lime and grapefruit. Firm acidity and phenolic grip sit over a supple base, with density, depth and a tactile mineral finish. The dry Riesling is made from hand-harvested fruit, undergoes spontaneous fermentation and is bottled unfiltered. Organic and biodynamic farming is certified by Demeter, while the finished wine carries 12.5 percent alcohol.

This dry, medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc is fruity, complex, mineral and rich. The vineyard blend comprises fifty percent limestone, thirty percent flint and twenty percent clay-limestone from Tracy-sur-Loire and Boisgibault. Grapes are sorted when the harvest arrives, and the cellar uses gravity during winemaking. The finished wine carries 12.5 percent alcohol, and the house describes its approach as entirely natural vinification.

Its single-vineyard site extends across Kammern, Zöbing and Strass on the eastern edge of the Gföhler gneiss plate.

A deep, creamy nose sits above a round, juicy profile with freshness, salinity and considerable length. The elevated parcel contains fossilized limestone and Kimmeridgian rock. Seventy-five percent of the wine is raised in barrel, with the remainder in tank, and the bottling is made without added sulphur. The Chardonnay vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, and the finished wine is unfined and unfiltered.
Pascal Clément 2021 Bourgogne Chardonnay

Flowers and heather honey sit with a creamy, buttery sensation, nuts, spices and white stone fruit. Chardonnay grapes are pressed as whole bunches, and the wine spends ten months in oak barrels that have been used between one and three times. The finished wine carries 12.7 percent alcohol in a cork-finished bottle. The family's Burgundy roots date to the mid-twentieth century, while its winemaking experience spans more than twenty years.

Zesty citrus aromas accompany a refreshing dry white with a crisp, clean finish. The blend draws on grapes grown across the Pacific Northwest Cascadia region, including Washington State and British Columbia. The current house specification lists Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and several additional aromatic varieties. Vegan-friendly production, 12.8 percent alcohol, seven grams per litre of residual sugar and 6.9 grams per litre of total acidity are also specified.
Alzinger 2024 Ried Mühlpoint Grüner Veltliner Federspiel
Austrian White
Pale chartreuse-yellow with silver reflections accompanies meadow herbs, yellow apple, mango, blossom honey and candied orange zest. The palate is juicy, with ripe mango and a salty finish. Vines grow on gneiss near the upper part of the site, while deeper clay layers appear lower down. The wine comes from the Mühlpoint vineyard in Austria's Wachau.

Canadian White
Crisp lime and mineral notes accompany a slightly sweet entry and mouth-watering fruit. The finish is medium-plus in length. The technical figures record 12.5 percent alcohol, nine grams per litre of titratable acidity and twenty grams per litre of residual sugar. This was the first vintage in which the estate bottled its single-vineyard Rieslings separately.
