Yellow-fleshed fruit, white flowers and anise sit alongside minerality, tension and freshness. Chardonnay grows on clay-limestone soil. Fermentation and maturation both take place in barrel for a year and a half, using indigenous yeasts. The vineyard site is in Montigny-lès-Arsures, within France’s Jura region. The producer places this Chardonnay among its white wines known as vins ouillés.
