Organically farmed Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir come from Kaleden above Skaha Lake, while the Gamay grows at Mariani Vineyard in Naramata. Each grape fermented separately with ambient yeast in stainless steel after its own preparation: Cabernet Franc was hand-destemmed and soaked for 48 hours, Gamay was whole-cluster pressed, and Pinot Noir was direct pressed. The wine was blended, hand-bottled, unfined and unfiltered. Raspberry, watermelon, blood orange, rosemary, strawberry, basil, peppercorn and rose petal appear in the profile.

A winter freeze left the project without fruit the previous year; friends at Joie supplied grapes from Secrest Mountain Vineyard in Oliver, British Columbia. They were picked on September third. The Pinot Noir was destemmed, fermented by wild yeasts and kept on skins for fifteen days. Ageing lasted six months in neutral French oak, and the wine contains 11.4 percent alcohol.

It is made without oak influence and comes from vineyards around Morogues in the Loire. The wine is made entirely from Pinot Noir grown on the Naramata Bench. Hand-harvested fruit is cooled overnight, then given twenty-four to thirty-six hours of skin contact. The drained juice settles before a long, cool fermentation in stainless steel. Alcohol is thirteen and seven-tenths percent.
