About Birch Block Vineyard
Murray and Sarah Bancroft planted Birch Block Vineyard in Kaleden in 2016 as a small family-run Pinot Noir project. Dijon Pinot Noir clones grow in sandy-loam soils, with the South Okanagan site’s warm days giving way to cool nights. The Bancrofts farm without herbicides or synthetic fertilizers and take a low-intervention approach in the cellar. Their first wine, the Endless Summer rosé, was released in spring 2019.
