Gérard Bertrand Esprit de Côtes des Roses Brut Rosé

Chardonnay accounts for fifty-five percent of the blend, Pinot Noir thirty percent and Grenache fifteen percent. Fine mousse accompanies lime and chalk aromas, while the palate is clean and soft. Red berries and white flower petals are also present, and the finish is long and refreshing. The cuvée includes reserve wine, completes its second fermentation in bottle and spends time ageing on the lees.

About Gérard Bertrand
Gérard Bertrand joined his father Georges for his first harvest at Château de Villemajou in Corbières in 1975. He took responsibility for the family estate in 1987 and founded the Gérard Bertrand wine company in 1992.
The company now works across seventeen estates in Languedoc and Roussillon, making both regional blends and wines from individual sites. Biodynamic farming began with a five-hectare trial at Domaine de Cigalus in 2002 before expanding to other estates.
