Ruby red in colour, this wine opens with bright strawberry and cherry aromas. Raspberry, rhubarb and dark plum flavours appear with spice, bright acidity and savoury notes. About DeLoach Vineyards
Cecil and Christine DeLoach bought twenty-four acres in Sonoma County in 1970 and began planting Pinot Noir the following year. Their first vintage followed in 1975. The Boisset family acquired DeLoach in 2003 and redirected the estate toward organic and biodynamic farming.
The estate vineyard’s seventeen planted acres lie on Huichica clay loam, with Russian River fog slowing ripening. For Pinot Noir, the cellar uses native yeasts, open-top wooden fermenters, hand punch-downs and French oak.
