JoieFarm 2020 Tiny Bubbles 250 mL
Pineapple, guava and lime zest lead this lively sparkling white, with passion fruit, brioche and a gentle nutmeg note adding depth. Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc are fermented separately in stainless steel, then blended and lightly carbonated for a fine, refreshing spritz. The palate stays bright, tropical and clean through the finish. Serve very cold with shellfish, sushi, picnic fare or fresh salads.
Famille Perrin 2016 Le Grand Prébois Blanc
White flowers lead an elegant, refined and supple palate. The fruit comes from a ten-hectare vineyard just outside Orange, on stony terraces of limestone, sand and clay. Viognier and Marsanne are vinified with temperature control in enamel tanks at about 19°C for roughly three weeks, then bottled six months after harvest. Serve at around 10°C to preserve the wine’s floral lift and gentle texture.
Road 13 2014 Stemwinder
Apple, pear, apricot, grape and spice accompany fresh, lingering flavours in this Okanagan white. Chardonnay, Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne make up the blend. Fruit comes from Cawston, Black Sage Bench and the Golden Mile. The wine pairs with seafood and vegetables, bringing several South Okanagan sites and four white grape varieties together in a single cuvée.
Church & State 2014 Lost Inhibitions White
Pineapple, apricot, peach and floral notes accompany citrus and spice in this aromatic white blend. The palate is slightly off-dry, with a round mouthfeel and balanced acidity. Viognier, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Orange Muscat and Roussanne make up the blend. Apple, pear and rose petal are also present, and the wine has a full-bodied profile.
Dominio de Punctum 2017 Viento Aliseo Viognier La Mancha
Apricot pith, magnolia blossom, beeswax, flax and broken-stone notes are present in a savoury, stony profile. The wine is rich in texture rather than weight, with a slight mineral grip on the finish. Made entirely from Viognier under the La Mancha designation, it is organic and biodynamic. The grapes are harvested at night and cold-macerated before fermentation. Alcohol is 13 percent.
Brotte 2023 La Fiole Côtes du Rhône Blanc
Seventy percent Grenache Blanc is joined by equal fifteen-percent shares of Clairette and Viognier. The grapes receive gentle direct pneumatic pressing and the juice settles overnight at 10°C. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at 16–18°C, without malolactic fermentation. The wine then rests on fine lees for six months with regular bâtonnage. Alcohol is 13.5 percent and residual sugar is 1 gram per litre.
Frind Estate 2019 Big White
Seven white grape varieties form this blend: Gewürztraminer, Kerner, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Viognier and Schönburger. Each was fermented separately in stainless steel before blending. Peach, pineapple and tropical flowers appear alongside melon, apple and green apple. Bright acidity, a crisp persistent finish and Anjou pear are also present. The wine is light-bodied and comes from the Okanagan Valley.
Le Petit Balthazar 2024 Viognier Sauvignon Blanc Pays d’Oc IGP
Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc are blended in equal proportions from chalk and clay soils. Lime, grapefruit and exotic fruit accompany a pale-yellow colour with silver and green tints. Crisp freshness, roundness, acidity and a fruity finish are also present. Production includes skin contact, low-temperature maceration, controlled fermentation, lees ageing with stirring and cool tank storage.
Ferraton Père & Fils 2021 La Tournée Blanc
Bright pale yellow colour with green highlights introduces citrus and grapefruit. The palate is broad and fruity, with ripe fruit, fresh acidity and persistent flavour. Vermentino and Viognier grow on clay-limestone slopes in Languedoc. The grapes are harvested at night and directly pressed without maceration. The separate wines rest on fine lees; after blending, the wine ages in tank on fine lees.
Bench 1775 2022 Viognier
Ripe peach, apricot skin, mango and honeysuckle shape the aromatics. Stone fruit, a hint of honey and vibrant acidity meet a full mouthfeel, with a bright, lingering finish. The Viognier comes entirely from Naramata Bench fruit. Grapes are harvested by hand, pressed and cold-fermented with the skins handled separately, then the lots are blended before bottling.
Moon Curser 2020 Viognier
Medium straw colour accompanies ambrosia apple, rose petal, pear and grapefruit aromas. White stone fruit, honeysuckle and orange blossom join a rich, round, slightly oily texture, while acidity and minerality carry through the finish. The Viognier was hand-picked, sorted twice, whole-cluster pressed and cool-fermented in stainless steel without malolactic fermentation or lees stirring. The wine is vegan.
Lorgeril L’Orangeraie 2023 Syrah-Viognier Pays d’Oc
Deep colour shows cherry highlights. Spice, pepper and black cherry lead the aromas, while the palate is round, with good volume and a flavourful finish. The blend combines eighty-four percent Syrah with sixteen percent Viognier from clay-limestone soils under ocean influence. Fermentation is regulated near twenty-four degrees Celsius, daily tastings determine maceration length, and maturation takes place in stainless steel.
Gérard Bertrand 2024 La Grande Bleue IGP Méditerranée
White pear and peach meet lemon, grapefruit, white flowers and hawthorn. A subtle exotic note is also present. The palate is lively, refreshing, mineral and rounded, with fruit followed by a long, saline finish. Rolle, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are vinified separately at low temperature in stainless steel, with no barrel ageing. The wine is organically produced.
Cala Civetta 2020 Vermentino di Toscana
Deep, bright straw-yellow colour accompanies floral and fruit aromas with mineral shades. The palate is fresh and savoury, carrying citrus and other fruit through a persistent finish. The blend is ninety percent Vermentino and ten percent Viognier. Fermentation takes place at no more than sixteen degrees, without malolactic fermentation, before three months in stainless steel on fine lees.
Lariana Cellars 2022 Viognier
Stone fruit leads into pineapple, peach and melon. Bright acidity and a refreshing finish are also present. The Viognier was fermented primarily in concrete eggs, and the release totalled 450 cases. The producer is based on Osoyoos Lake at the southern end of the Okanagan Valley. Its vineyard includes Viognier, while additional fruit for the variety is sourced from another grower in Osoyoos.
