Brotte 2023 La Fiole Côtes du Rhône Blanc

Seventy percent Grenache Blanc is joined by equal fifteen-percent shares of Clairette and Viognier. The grapes receive gentle direct pneumatic pressing and the juice settles overnight at 10°C. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at 16–18°C, without malolactic fermentation. The wine then rests on fine lees for six months with regular bâtonnage. Alcohol is 13.5 percent and residual sugar is 1 gram per litre.

French Red
Black cherry and plum meet smoke and liquorice in this organic Grenache-Syrah blend. The wine is unoaked, full-bodied and fresh in fruit, with fine, furry tannins. Crushed cherries, raspberries and a light dusting of pepper add to its juicy profile. The blend is eighty percent Grenache and twenty percent Syrah, vinified and aged in concrete for more than a year.
