Descendant is a single-vineyard Barossa blend of Shiraz and Viognier, co-fermented for fragrance, texture and savoury detail. Ripe dark fruit is framed by spice, violet and a polished tannic line, with measured oak adding breadth without dulling the wine’s lift. Decant and serve with lamb, beef or slow-cooked game.

About Torbreck
Established in 1994, Torbreck brings a southern Rhône influence to the old vineyards of Australia’s Barossa Valley. Shiraz, Grenache and Mataro are central to its wines, with grapes supplied by both its own vineyards and long-standing local growers. Individual vineyard parcels are vinified separately before blending.
The name comes from a forest near Inverness, one of several Scottish references in the winery’s history and wine names.
