Hesketh 2018 Ebenezer Grenache

Bright and generous, with red cherry, strawberry and cranberry fruit lifted by bergamot and a thread of dried herbs. The palate is supple and rounded, bringing ripe berry richness into balance with earthy spice and a gently savoury line. Full-flavoured without feeling heavy, it finishes long and composed, making an easy match for roast pork, charred vegetables or herb-crusted lamb.

About Hesketh
Jonathon and Trish Hesketh started Hesketh in 2006 with limited savings, buying grapes from growers and borrowing space in friends’ wineries. The purchase of Parker Coonawarra Estate in 2012 brought more of the work in-house while preserving that grower network. The family’s sources now combine estate vineyards with specialist sites across the Adelaide Hills, Limestone Coast, Clare Valley and Barossa Valley.
The winemaking team includes Keeda Zilm, Andrew Hardy and Luke Broadbent. Hesketh is based at Grünthal in the Adelaide Hills.
