Violet, crushed raspberry and black plum open with hints of pepper, sagebrush and baking spice. Rich but finely balanced, the palate layers wild raspberry, black currant and dark forest fruit over fresh acidity and firm, stony tannins. A touch of dark chocolate adds depth before the persistent, savoury finish.

About Clos du Soleil
Clos du Soleil is a small artisan estate on the Upper Bench of British Columbia’s South Similkameen Valley. Founded in 2006, it takes inspiration from Bordeaux in a landscape of rocky soils, long sunlight and surrounding mountains.
Its four estate vineyards are certified organic and farmed biodynamically. Winemaker and co-owner Michael Clark trained at UC Davis and worked in wineries in Switzerland and Bordeaux.
