Red berries and lifted aromatics lead, with a quiet savoury undertone adding depth. The palate is bright and light-footed, balancing lively acidity with gentle tannins and a finely textured, unfiltered feel. Extended ageing has brought the elements together without dulling the fruit, and a slight chill makes it especially appealing with charcuterie, grilled vegetables or roast poultry.

About Scout Vineyard
Aaron and Carly Godard and Murray and Maggie Fonteyne founded Scout Vineyard in 2018 as a two-family wine farm in the Similkameen Valley. They named it for Murray and Maggie’s daughter. The farm has granitic soils, low rainfall, alpine winds and large day-to-night temperature shifts.
Deep-rooted cover crops are part of its regenerative farming, aimed at supporting soil life and retaining water. The cellar uses Georgian qvevri vessels for both skin-contact and directly pressed wines. Sulphur additions are occasional and limited.
