Cabernet Sauvignon leads the blend, supported by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Handpicked fruit is selected again before destemming, then handled gently through pump-overs and matured in 500-litre barrels. The vines occupy a sea-facing hill around 70 metres above sea level, rooted in calcareous clay, sand and limestone. Fruit remains central, with refreshing spice and a full-bodied, expressive palate.

Bright raspberry meets dark fruit and firm structure. The blend contains fifty-one percent Cabernet Franc, forty-eight percent Petit Verdot and one percent Pinot Noir, all harvested by hand. Fruit is destemmed and crushed before a twenty-one-day maceration and fermentation in stainless steel. Maturation lasts fourteen months in neutral French barrels, alcohol is 13.9 percent, and production totals 920 cases.

Ripe red fruit, vanilla, cinnamon and toasted notes accompany a deep purple-red colour. The palate is fruity, savoury, fleshy and glyceric, with soft, ripe tannins. Monastrell, Syrah and Petit Verdot are fermented and macerated separately for fifteen to twenty days at no more than twenty-eight degrees Celsius. The blend spends four months in American oak barrels.

The blend contains sixty-nine percent Cabernet Sauvignon, fifteen percent Malbec, ten percent Petit Verdot, three percent Carménère and three percent Cabernet Franc. Fruit came from Osoyoos East Bench vineyards, and thirty-one percent of the French oak was new. The wine is vegan.

The profile includes plum, fig, coffee, dark chocolate, black cherry and blackcurrant. Decanting is recommended. This concentrated red combines 28 percent Syrah, 22 percent Cabernet Franc, 22 percent Malbec, 12 percent Petit Verdot, nine percent Merlot and seven percent Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit comes from estate vineyards in the Osoyoos region of the Okanagan Valley.

The Bordeaux-style blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot from the Old Main vineyard with Petit Verdot and Malbec from the King Drive vineyard. Fruit was hand-picked between November 1 and 5. The wine completed malolactic fermentation and spent twenty-one months in French oak before bottling.
D. Marioni 2019 Bordo Red
American Red
Fruit and ripe plum appear with vegetal notes in this bold California red. Merlot and Malbec are blended with Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Fruit comes from the Yorkville Highlands in Mendocino County. The grapes are destemmed and fermented in open-top vessels with manual punch-downs. The wine is pressed to neutral barrels, aged for ten months and racked once. Alcohol is fourteen percent.

The vineyard lies between 30 and 80 metres, with continental sands and flysch composed of limestone, marl, clay, sandstone and siliceous rock. The site is planted at 6,000 vines per hectare.

Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot make up the blend. An inky core with browning at the edges accompanies plum, purple fruit, sour plum, prune, bitter coffee, cassis, toasted oak and Christmas-cake spice. The fruit is grown on the family estate on the Gallipoli Peninsula, and maturation lasts twelve months in new French oak.

Berry juice, pepper and thyme give a savoury profile with fruit purity and spicy complexity. Syrah makes up eighty percent of the blend, with Petit Verdot comprising the remaining twenty percent. The fruit was carefully selected for the bottling. The vineyards lie in Santa Barbara County, where the growers responsible for the fruit have cultivated vines at the estate since the mid-1990s.
