An elegant Listrac-Médoc with blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry, accented by subtle cedar and spice. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, with refined tannins and balanced acidity shaping the dark fruit without hardening it. Long and savoury through the finish, it is well matched with roast beef, lamb, mushrooms or mature hard cheese.

About Château Fourcas-Borie
Château Fourcas-Borie took its present name after Bruno Borie acquired the former Fourcas-Dumont property in 2009. Its roughly thirty hectares at Listrac-Médoc include gravel rises over clay and parcels of clay-silica soil.
The vineyard mix is approximately half Merlot, forty percent Cabernet Sauvignon and ten percent Petit Verdot. Wine from each parcel ferments separately in temperature-controlled tanks, then spends about a year in French oak, using both new and previously used barrels.
