Corcelettes Estate Winery is led by Charlie and Jesce Baessler, who began with a 200-case first vintage in 2011. The Similkameen property covers more than 160 acres, with 42 acres planted to vines.
Steep valley walls radiate heat over the vineyards, which are exposed to persistent wind and rooted in stony soils. The team tends its estate blocks by hand and also works with local growers. Bordeaux varieties, Syrah, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay make up the range.

Canadian Red
Blackberry and fresh blueberry lead with a light violet perfume. The palate layers red and dark plum with sweet cherry and allspice, framed by balanced acidity and restrained tannins. A faint smoky note adds depth without heaviness, carrying the dark fruit through a polished, savoury and gently persistent finish.
