Trediberri 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo
Italian Red
Warm fruit and pepper accompany a light, juicy profile with restrained tannins. Nebbiolo comes mainly from La Morra and Levice, with smaller portions from Vicoforte and Monticello d’Alba. Alcoholic fermentation occurs mostly in concrete for about ten to twelve days. Malolactic fermentation uses concrete or stainless steel, followed by several months of ageing in concrete, steel and plastic before bottling.
Marchesi di Grésy 2018 Martinenga Langhe Nebbiolo
Italian Red
Bright ruby colour accompanies strawberry, raspberry and black cherry. The palate is fresh, lively and balanced, with medium body and tannins. A short vinification and malolactic fermentation take place in steel. Ageing takes place mainly in cement with some tank. Floral notes accompany the red-fruit profile. Nebbiolo comes from the Martinenga vineyard in Piedmont's Langhe.
Scarpa 2022 Bric du Nota Langhe Nebbiolo DOC
Italian Red
Strawberry, red cherry, sweet spice and violet define the profile. The wine is medium-bodied, with freshness, fine tannin and a firm finish. Nebbiolo comes from south-facing vineyards at 380 metres in the Roero municipalities, on predominantly sandy soils rich in mineral salts. Skin maceration lasts twenty-one days in steel, with two manual pump-overs daily, before twelve months in a 45-hectolitre Allier French-oak cask.
Giovanni Viberti 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo
Italian Red
Ripe red fruit, cherries, raspberries, lilac, red liquorice and savoury notes shape the profile. Soft tannins accompany tart plum, earth and floral character, with bright acidity and a long finish. Made entirely from Nebbiolo, the wine fermented in stainless steel and aged for nine months before spending two to three months in neutral oak. A further three months of bottle ageing followed.
Bruno Rocca 2023 Langhe Rosato
Italian Rosé
Cherry-red colour accompanies raspberry and strawberry. The rosé has concentration, crisp freshness and a red-fruit profile. Nebbiolo comes from young vines in the producer's vineyards. Grapes were harvested by hand, destemmed and sorted as whole berries into stainless-steel tanks. The wine then spent several months in stainless steel before bottling. It is dry and carries the Langhe designation.
Diego Conterno 2021 Baluma Langhe Nebbiolo
Italian Red
Red berries, cherries, wild flowers and warm spice appear in a medium-bodied profile with silky texture and ripe tannins. Nebbiolo comes from the Ferrione vineyard near Monforte d'Alba, on a west- to southwest-facing slope with clay and calcareous marl. The grapes are harvested by hand and destemmed. Fermentation uses native yeasts, followed by five months in 500-litre oak and four months in cement.
Elio Altare 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo DOC
Italian Red
Intense ruby colour accompanies fresh rose petals and red fruit. The palate carries further red fruit, acidity and tannins that are present without drying the mouth. Made entirely from Nebbiolo grown in La Morra and Monforte, the vines range from twenty to fifty years old. Skin maceration lasts three to four days, and the wine spends five months in used French barriques.
Pio Cesare 2021 Rosy Langhe Rosato DOC
Italian Rosé
Amber-pink colour accompanies a dry, fruity character, spice, savoury freshness and slight natural effervescence. Nebbiolo forms most of the blend, with a small portion of Syrah from estate vineyards in the Langhe. Grapes are picked early and pressed gently. Fermentation and maturation take place in stainless steel and used French barriques. The wine has a full, structured profile and contains fourteen percent alcohol.
Colombera & Garella 2019 Cavazucchi Rosso
Italian Red
The vineyard covers 0.7 hectares on a south-west-facing slope at 350 metres in the La Mesola cru. Its yellow volcanic sand is high in porphyry. The blend is eighty percent Nebbiolo, ten percent Croatina and ten percent Vespolina. Fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts in large cement tanks for ten days. Maturation lasts two years in old oak barrels, one year in cement tanks and one year in bottle.
Borgogno 2019 No Name Langhe Nebbiolo DOC

Ruby-red colour with garnet highlights accompanies violet, rose, ripe fruit and spice. The palate is velvety and balanced, with polished tannins and earthy flavours. Nebbiolo accounts for the entire composition. Maturation lasts at least three years in cask and six months in bottle. The fruit comes from vineyards around Barolo with south, southeast and southwest exposures on calcareous-clay soils.
Albino Rocca 2023 Nebbiolo d’Alba
Italian Red
Ruby colour tending toward garnet accompanies violet, humus, woodland spice, red fruit, dried flowers, liquorice and Earl Grey tea. Fine, supple tannins and a long finish are present. Nebbiolo comes from Terra di Mezzo in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, where vines between fifteen and sixty years old grow in calcareous-clay soil. Maturation lasts roughly twelve months in large Austrian and German oak.
Poderi Colla 2016 Bricco del Drago Langhe Rosso
Italian Red
Deep ruby in colour, the wine shows fresh plum, Morello cherry and almond. The palate is juicy and concentrated, with balanced tannins and a long finish. Dolcetto accounts for eighty-five percent of the blend and Nebbiolo fifteen percent. Alcohol is thirteen and a half percent, residual sugar is below three grams per litre, and acidity is five point six grams per litre.
Barbacan 2021 Söl Valtellina Superiore Valgella DOCG
Italian Red
Red fruit, mushroom and carnation are present with a savoury palate. The Söl vineyard covers one and a half hectares at 450 metres, with southeast exposure and sandy soil. The grapes were hand-harvested, destemmed and gently pressed, with spontaneous fermentation in steel and fifty days of maceration. Maturation includes three months in steel, twelve months in barrel and nine months in bottle.
Comm. G.B. Burlotto 2017 Barolo DOCG
Italian Red
Deep ruby-red colour accompanies ripe berries, cherry, delicate spice, violet, lavender and mineral notes. Dried rose is also present. The palate has fine, structured tannins, acidity, softness and a persistent red-fruit and spice aftertaste. Nebbiolo comes from Verduno in Piedmont. Total skin contact lasts two weeks, alcohol is fourteen and a half percent, and the wine is dry.
Voerzio Martini 2020 Barolo DOCG
Italian Red
Garnet-red colour has light amaranth reflections. Spiced, floral and fruit aromas are joined by vanilla. The palate is full and soft, with balanced tannins, cocoa, very ripe fruit and persistent character. Nebbiolo grows at 400 metres on Sant'Agata marl with clay, fine sand and limestone. Fermentation lasts fifteen to twenty days in stainless steel. Ageing includes about twenty-four months in 500-litre French-oak casks and a further six months in 25-hectolitre French oak.
Produttori del Barbaresco 2020 Muncagota Riserva Barbaresco
Italian Red
Floral notes of brushwood, mint and eucalyptus balance body and tannic structure. The wine is entirely Nebbiolo, grown on calcareous limestone in the Muncagota MGA. Fermentation takes place at thirty degrees Celsius with twenty-eight days of skin contact and complete malolactic fermentation. Ageing lasts at least thirty months in twenty-five- to fifty-hectolitre oak barrels. Alcohol is fourteen and a half percent.
Roagna 2019 Langhe Rosso
Italian Red
Fresh fruit, pressed flowers and roses accompany good concentration, balanced acidity and a firm backbone. Young Nebbiolo vines are used. Fermentation takes place in wooden vats with a pied de cuve made from indigenous yeasts and lasts about ten days. Submerged-cap maceration lasts at least two months. Maturation uses neutral oak and concrete tanks for about five years.
M.A. Monticelli 2019 Barolo DOCG
Italian Red
Wild berry, red cherry and raspberry compote meet dried rose petals, forest brush, tobacco, wood and spice. The palate is soft and supple, framed by structured tannins, balanced acidity and finesse. Nebbiolo comes from Bussia, Pugnane and Panerole. Maturation includes twenty-four months in Slavonian oak casks and twelve months in bottle before release. Production totals 140 cases, and alcohol is fourteen percent.

Garnet-red colour shows subtle brick reflections. Dried rose, forest floor, cherry, tar, truffle and spice form the aromatic profile. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with firm, integrated tannins, lively acidity, red fruit, liquorice, leather and earthy tones. The finish is long. This wine is made entirely from Nebbiolo, and the alcohol level is fourteen percent.
Le Piane 2017 Boca
Italian Red
Crushed rose petal, white pepper, cedar and pipe tobacco form the aromatic profile. Minerality and freshness are present. The blend is eighty-five percent Nebbiolo and fifteen percent Vespolina. Fruit comes from thirty- to fifty-year-old vineyards rooted in volcanic porphyry gravel. Fermentation with the skins takes place in open steel and wooden casks. The wine aged four years, was bottled without filtration or fining, and rested for six months.

Sour cherry, red plum and dried rose petal appear with anise and earthy spice. The palate is medium-bodied and structured, with bright acidity and finely grained tannins. A savoury character is also present, and the finish is long and dry. The wine is made entirely from Nebbiolo, carries fourteen percent alcohol and holds the Nebbiolo d'Alba designation in Piedmont, Italy.
Bussìa Soprana 2012 Barolo

Nebbiolo comes from about 2.5 hectares of vineyards in the Bussia Soprana area, on tuff and sand. The vines average fifteen to thirty years old and are trained to Guyot. Grapes are harvested in October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at twenty-eight to thirty-two degrees Celsius with selected yeasts, and maceration lasts fifteen days. Maturation lasts twenty-four months in thirty-quintal French oak casks. Alcohol is fourteen percent.
Nada Fiorenzo 2017 Barbaresco Rombone
Italian Red
Crushed flowers, red berry, cinnamon, mint and star anise are present. The colour is deep garnet red. The palate is savoury and warm, with tannins that become more refined over time. Nebbiolo comes from vines planted in the mid-1960s on calcareous-clay soil with southwest exposure, at an average elevation of 260 metres. Maturation lasts twenty-four months in oak and six months in bottle.
Fortemasso 2019 Barolo DOCG Castelletto
Italian Red
Clear ruby-red colour has a delicate lightening at the rim. Redcurrant, cherry, dried rose petals and white pepper are present. The palate is lively, fresh and juicy, with savoury character, tension between tannin and acidity, and a salty, persistent finish. Nebbiolo grows on east- and southeast-facing slopes in sandy, limestone-rich soil. The vines use Guyot training, and grapes are harvested by hand into small crates.
Bruno Rocca 2021 Barbaresco

Intense garnet colour accompanies blackberry, black cherry and plum, with rose and violet petals and spice. The palate is warm, with a long finish and cocoa. Nebbiolo comes from younger vines in Neive at San Cristoforo, Marcorino and Fausoni. The wine is vinified in stainless steel for about 20–25 days and aged around 18 months in French oak barriques.
Barbacan 2016 Livèl Valtellina Superiore Valgella DOCG
Italian Red
Concentrated red cherry and black plum appear with firm tannins and a long finish. Nebbiolo comes from the Livèl vineyard in Valgella, set between 550 and 600 metres above sea level. The site faces south and has sandy, siliceous soils with mica schist and granite intrusions. Its old vines are harvested by hand, and fermentation uses indigenous yeasts.
Paolo Scavino 2018 Barolo Bricco Ambrogio
Italian Red
Camphor, purple flowers, dark-skinned berries and spice appear with raspberry, truffle, cherry in spirits and liquorice. The palate is full bodied and enveloping, with velvety, fine-grained tannins. Nebbiolo comes from Bricco Ambrogio in Roddi. Dark fruit, cherry and plum are also present, and the mouthfeel is broad, long and polished. The wine contains 15 percent alcohol.

Blackberry, spice, forest floor, wild rose and violet appear with deep garnet colour. The palate is rich, enveloping and intense, with a long finish and velvety tannins. Nebbiolo forms the entire wine. Grapes are harvested by hand, destemmed and crushed. Skin maceration lasts twelve to fifteen days at a maximum temperature of about thirty degrees Celsius. Maturation lasts twelve to fourteen months in Slavonian oak.
Barale Fratelli 2019 Castellero Barolo

Cherry, raspberry, mint, eucalyptus, pepper and nutmeg appear in the aromas. The palate combines fruit and spice with refreshing acidity, ripe tannins and a persistent, saline finish. Castellero lies in the municipality of Barolo on calcareous, silty clay loam. The organically farmed vineyard has a southwest exposure at 270 metres. The wine is made entirely from Nebbiolo and bottled at fourteen percent alcohol.
Barale Fratelli 2019 Bussia Barolo

An expressive profile brings dried rose, liquorice, tobacco, leather and violet. The palate is robust yet velvety, ample and balanced. Fruit comes from Bussia Soprana in Monforte d'Alba, at 270 metres on calcareous, sandy-loam soil. The wine is made entirely from Nebbiolo. Grapes are harvested by hand, fermented spontaneously in oak with indigenous yeasts and macerated for about fifteen to twenty days.
