Attilio Ghisolfi

Nebbiolo comes from vineyards in Monforte, Monteu, Priocca and Treiso, set between three hundred fifty and four hundred metres. The sites face south and southwest, with marly, calcareous and clay soils. Skin maceration lasts five days at controlled temperature, and fermentation uses native yeast. Maturation takes nine to twelve months in small oak casks, followed by six months in bottle.
