L-ST Projects 2025 Convida Vineyard Chardonnay
Canadian White
Tinned pineapple, mango at different stages of ripeness and a touch of salt define the profile of Chardonnay from Convida Vineyard in Skaha. Whole clusters are pressed before fermentation in neutral barrel, and full malolactic fermentation also takes place in neutral barrel. The wine has no significant bottle ageing before release. Alcohol is 12.5 percent, residual sugar is 1.68 grams per litre, and production totals seventy cases.

French White
Bright yellow with green highlights, the wine brings together flint, white peach, green apple, acacia and fresh white fruit. A round, generous texture meets lively acidity, citrus and wet stone through a lingering mineral finish. The Chardonnay comes from northern and western Mâconnais plots with limestone-rich soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, preserving the unwooded style.

The wine is made entirely from Chardonnay; whole clusters are pressed before seven years on the lees. This traditional-method sparkling wine was disgorged in March following its extended lees ageing.

Green apple, juicy pear and melon appear with a background note of marzipan. The wine is refreshing and medium-bodied, with bright acidity, a silky texture and a smooth, mineral finish. Grapes come from estate vineyards in Sonoma Valley and Russian River Valley, along with selected growers in Carneros and Alexander Valley. They are picked at night or early morning, whole-cluster pressed and fermented in separate lots. Ageing lasts six months in French oak, including twenty percent new barrels.

Bright citrus, lemon zest and peach form the aromatic profile. Bartlett pear, lemon curd, white flowers and baking spices appear on the palate, which is full-bodied, rich and weighty, with integrated acidity. Half of the wine ferments in French oak barrels and half in stainless steel, with some malolactic fermentation. Ageing lasts fourteen months, using ten percent new French oak. It contains fourteen and a half percent alcohol.

Made entirely from Chardonnay, this white wine is fermented and matured for four months in stainless steel. The colour is citrus yellow with green reflections. Grapefruit, orange peel and white flowers appear with mineral notes and acidity. Lemon, flint and green apple are also present. The wine comes from Tuscany and contains thirteen percent alcohol.
Fort Berens Estate Winery 2023 White Gold Reserve Chardonnay

Half the Chardonnay was whole-cluster pressed. The remainder was crushed, destemmed and left on skins for four hours before pressing. Cold fermentation used natural yeast, followed by seven months in French oak and partial malolactic fermentation. Lemon zest, stone fruit, roasted nuts and honey blossom appear with a rich, buttery mouthfeel, fresh acidity, integrated oak and a long finish.

Barrel fermentation and malolactic fermentation are followed by eight months in French oak. Coconut and vanilla bean appear with macerated pear, brûléed pineapple, crunchy honeycomb and rum-raisin ice cream. Bright acidity and sea salt are also present. Made entirely from Chardonnay, the wine contains 13.8% alcohol and comes from Mariposa vineyards in British Columbia's southern interior.
La Frenz 2022 Reserve Chardonnay

Light lemon in colour, this Chardonnay presents light stone-fruit aromas. It is dry and medium-plus bodied, with a smooth, thicker mouthfeel and a buttery texture. Tropical fruit, butterscotch and sweet spices are also present. Fruit comes from the Naramata Bench in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. It can develop in bottle for up to five years under the winery's cellaring guidance.
Doudet-Naudin 2022 Bourgogne Chardonnay
French White
Pale, brilliant gold in colour, this Chardonnay shows ripe fruit, quince, broom and rennet apple, with white peach, bergamot, exotic fruit and a light citrus presence. Clay and chalky marls underlie the regional Bourgogne vineyards. Grapes are harvested by hand, pressed pneumatically and vinified at controlled temperatures. The must settles in stainless-steel vats, and maturation continues in stainless steel for eight months.
Keenan 2023 Chardonnay Spring Mountain District
American White
Citrus, ripe pear and green apple appear in the profile, with white peach as the wine opens. The acidity is crisp and the body is medium. The juice is fermented and aged in French and American oak, with lees contact and weekly barrel stirring. Malolactic fermentation is avoided, and cellar ageing lasts approximately seven months. The wine contains 13.1 percent alcohol.

The blend is eighty-seven percent Chardonnay, twelve percent Pinot Noir and one percent Pinot Meunier. Made by the traditional method, it spent at least eighteen years on its lees before small-batch disgorgement began.

This sparkling white comes from the Okanagan Valley in Canada and carries 12.5 percent alcohol.

The property covers four hectares in Rotalier.

Chardonnay combines Dijon clones 96, 95, 76 and 548 from selected South Kelowna vineyard blocks. The fruit is hand picked and whole-cluster pressed. Production includes French-oak barrel fermentation, fifteen months in barrel, full malolactic fermentation and some bâtonnage.
Roland Lavantureux 2018 Chablis
French White
Pear and lemon appear with a touch of wet walnut. The palate has concentration, mid-palate weight and salty preserved-lemon freshness, with a bright finish. Chardonnay comes from a five-hectare parcel in Lignorelles. The estate vinifies each parcel separately, and this wine receives twenty-five percent barrel élevage. The profile is long and direct, and alcohol is 12.5 percent.

Toasted almond, baked bread and citrus blossom shape a dry, crisp profile. The palate is delicate and the finish shows citrus. Chardonnay from Dry Creek Vineyard in Lillooet is whole-cluster pressed and tank-fermented with selected yeast. Secondary fermentation takes place in bottle, followed by twenty-four months on the lees before riddling and disgorging. Residual sugar is 5.8 grams per litre, and alcohol is 11.5 percent.

Bright straw-yellow colour accompanies yellow flowers, citrus and tropical fruit. The palate is broad, complex, fruity and persistent, with mineral notes, refreshing acidity and a fresh finish. Grechetto, Procanico, Malvasia, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc form the blend. Fermentation and four to five months of ageing take place in stainless steel, followed by one month of bottle ageing.

The mousse is creamy, with texture, richness and lively freshness.

Chardonnay from the elevated Biévaux slope is made as a still white Santenay and aged in barrel. Production totalled 13,200 bottles. The vineyard is arranged on terraces. Its vines average thirty years of age, and ageing lasts twelve months in French oak.

Baker's yeast and crushed stone are also present. The wine is medium-bodied and silky, with crisp fruit. Chardonnay comes from the Sonoma Coast in California. The wine is unoaked, and production totalled sixteen thousand cases.

The grapes are destemmed and undergo a five-day cold soak. Some varieties are co-fermented, while others ferment separately. After basket pressing, the wine rests in stainless steel before blending and bottling. It is vegan.
Domaine de la Tournelle Macvin du Jura Blanc NV
French Fortified
Chardonnay juice makes up two thirds of the blend, with one third Jura pomace. The pomace spends three years in cask. The juice settles statically for twelve hours before assembly. The finished blend remains in cask for twenty-four to thirty-six months. Bottling is unfiltered and without sulphur dioxide. Alcohol is seventeen percent, with residual sugar between 180 and 220 grams per litre.
