The finish is long and energetic, balancing ripe fruit with fine structure.

Serve chilled with grilled beef, barbecue ribs, lamb or nutty cheese.
Rathjen Cellars Scrumpy Cider 500 mL

Wild fermentation brings together apples, quince, pears and crabapples gathered from local orchards. The small-lot cider draws entirely on Vancouver Island fruit, reflecting the producer's wider commitment to local growing conditions and orchard diversity around the Saanich Peninsula. Its scrumpy identity is deliberately rustic and fruit-led, with several orchard species contributing to the blend rather than apples alone.
