Grgich Hills 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep red in the glass, this sultry wine shows dark berry fruit on the nose followed by black current, plum, with an undertone of lavender and allspice. Rich and velvety on the palate, this Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits full and smooth tannins, yet maintains a youthfulness. Plum and pluot re-emerge on the palate carried by undertones of rhubarb and hints of nutmeg. Great aging potential in the 2016 vintage.
Reverdito 2016 Barolo Bricco
A structured and aromatic expression of Nebbiolo, showing lifted notes of red cherry, rose petal, and wild strawberry layered with licorice, tar, and subtle dried herbs. The palate is firm and linear, with fine but assertive tannins supporting a core of pure red fruit and savoury mineral drive.
