Chateau de Beaucastel Chateau du Pape 2020

$129.99
Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 is a classic, Mourvèdre-led Southern Rhône red that shows the estate’s trademark depth and savoury complexity. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, dried rose, lavender, liquorice, leather and garrigue lead into a layered palate of dark fruit, pepper, earth and warm spice. Full-bodied and structured, it keeps its shape through fresh acidity, firm but polished tannins and a long mineral finish. A serious, ageworthy red for roast lamb, game or slow-braised meats.

Remelluri 2009 Rioja Gran Reserva Granja

$129.99
Complex and refined, with aromas of black cherry, plum and dried herbs layered with notes of tobacco, spice and graphite. The palate is rich yet elegant, with fine tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, savoury finish. A beautifully balanced Gran Reserva with remarkable depth and ageing potential.

Reverdito 2016 Barolo Ascheri

$129.99
Vineyard: La Morra Production: 4,000 bottles Soil: Marl Barolo produced here is best described as “warm-hearted”. Michele’s Barolo Ascheri comes from the classic chalky soils of La Morra about 250 meters up the steep hillside, inter-planted with several types of grasses and beans to aid biodiversity and soil structure. The resulting wine has an enticing nose of flowers, ripe strawberries and dark cherries, and a good mouthful of plummy ripe elegant fruit. This deceptively mid-weight Barolo has a ton to offer.
