Clos Marie 2013 Les Métairies du Clos Vieilles Vignes Pic Saint-Loup
Black raspberry appears with violets, wild herbs, crushed flowers, leather, pepper, garrigue and spice. Red fruit, freshness and a structured tannic profile are also present. Grenache, Carignan and Syrah grow on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and partly destemmed before a long maceration. The vineyard is farmed organically, and the wine contains fourteen percent alcohol.
Gratavinum 2022 2πr Priorat
Deep purple colour with ruby tinges accompanies preserved red fruit and toasty oak detail. The entry is soft, with ripe tannins, good volume and acidity. Fruit and a mineral character are also present, together with a long, fresh aftertaste. Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon form the blend, with grapes grown organically and biodynamically in Priorat.
Undurraga 2019 Red Field Blend
Deep garnet colour with violet hues accompanies peppermint, pepper, violets, lavender, blackberry and red fruit. Raspberry and cherry appear with firm tannins, freshness, light toast and a long finish. The field blend is mainly Malbec, with Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and País. Old dry-farmed vines grow in Maule, and the co-fermented wine spends fourteen months in mostly neutral French oak.

Deep ruby in colour, with intense fruit aromas and liquorice. The palate is elegant and full-bodied. The blend is 60% Carignan, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah each at 10%. Dark berry, lavender and black tea add further detail. Round, velvety tannins and a flavourful finish accompany the wine’s juicy, deep Sardinian profile.
Mas Doix 2016 Salanques Priorat
Cranberry, raspberry and redcurrant appear with balsamic detail and a light wood note. Dense texture and firm tannic structure are also recorded, alongside blackberry and cherry. The blend is 65% Grenache, 25% Carignan and 10% Syrah. The wine spent fourteen months in new and once-used barrels before bottling. It is a red blend from Priorat, Spain.
