Carignan

Black raspberry appears with violets, wild herbs, crushed flowers, leather, pepper, garrigue and spice. Red fruit, freshness and a structured tannic profile are also present. Grenache, Carignan and Syrah grow on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and partly destemmed before a long maceration. The vineyard is farmed organically, and the wine contains fourteen percent alcohol.

Deep purple colour with ruby tinges accompanies preserved red fruit and toasty oak detail. The entry is soft, with ripe tannins, good volume and acidity. Fruit and a mineral character are also present, together with a long, fresh aftertaste. Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon form the blend, with grapes grown organically and biodynamically in Priorat.

Cranberry, raspberry and redcurrant appear with balsamic detail and a light wood note. Dense texture and firm tannic structure are also recorded, alongside blackberry and cherry. The blend is 65% Grenache, 25% Carignan and 10% Syrah. The wine spent fourteen months in new and once-used barrels before bottling. It is a red blend from Priorat, Spain.

Black cherry and raspberry lead, with cranberry, warming spice and a light earthy note adding lift. The palate is light-bodied and juicy, balancing fresh red fruit with tangy acidity and gentle tannins. Serve slightly cool with burgers, grilled sausages, pizza, roast vegetables or a casual plate of charcuterie.

Red plum and berry fruit lead a firm, tightly structured red, with reed-like spice adding a savoury edge. Clear tannic grip follows, joined by mixed black fruit and fig. Chocolate appears on the finish, where the darker fruit and spice remain present. Full-bodied and concentrated, it combines ripe fruit with firm tannins and refreshing acidity.

Blackberry, dried red cherry, strawberry and huckleberry lead a generous mix of red and dark fruit. The palate is concentrated and full without losing freshness, with lightly grippy tannins carrying the fruit into a firm, persistent finish. Serve slightly cool with grilled duck, roast lamb, a well-seared rib steak or a board of mature cheeses.

Deeply coloured and strikingly mature, with dried fruit, leather, fig, tobacco and candied cherry joined by flashes of raspberry, pomegranate and dried rose. Four years under a veil of yeast give the palate unusual depth and savoury complexity. Rich, muscular and earthy, with dusty tannins and a substantial, cigar-toned finish.

Preserved cherry leads, joined by dark berry fruit, white pepper and a restrained floral lift. The palate is fresh and generous, with polished texture and savoury mineral depth. Fine tannins keep the fruit composed, while gentle spice and a clean, stony note carry the balanced, quietly persistent finish.

Led by Petit Verdot with small additions of Grenache and Carignan, this is a deep, structured red with earthy black fruit, wild hedgerow and subtle woodland notes. The palate is powerful but finely balanced, with dense fruit, firm seamless tannins and a mineral freshness that keeps the wine composed. A long, measured finish and savoury complexity make it well suited to roasted or slow-braised meats.
