Domaine des Tourelles 2022 Vieilles Vignes Merweh & Obeidi
Lebanese White
Pale gold in colour, the wine has aromas of white peach, chamomile and flint. Quince, pear and citrus peel appear with dried herbs, honey and almond. The finish is long and savoury, with nuttiness and mineral lift. Merweh and Obeidi are cold-fermented separately with wild yeasts. The components are blended and stored briefly in stainless steel. Alcohol is eleven percent.

Anise and liquorice lead a clear, intensely aromatic nose, supported by subtle grape fruit and dry herbal notes. The palate is smooth and concentrated, with five years in clay jars giving the spirit a rounded, settled texture without muting its fresh anise character. A gentle fruitiness emerges through the middle before a long, clean finish. Pour neat, then add ice-cold water to soften the strength and release the aromatic oils.

Piney juniper and coriander lead a dry, aromatic profile, with Lebanese citrus peel bringing brightness beside florals, warm spice and a light earthy note. Fourteen locally sourced botanicals give the palate detail without crowding its clean structure. Resting in traditional clay amphorae rounds the texture while preserving a clear mineral edge and a lively black-pepper lift. The finish is composed and fragrant, carrying juniper, citrus and spice. Serve with tonic, rosemary or a simple twist of orange.

Ripe dark fruit sits against a vibrant, juicy core in this minimal-intervention red. Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon each make up forty percent of the blend, with Cinsault and Carignan completing it. The contrast between generous fruit and lively freshness reflects the Bekaa Valley's hot, dry days and cool nights, giving the palate both richness and energy.

Lebanese Red
Wild cherry and raspberry lead, followed by cracked white pepper, dried herbs and worked leather. Fine salts add a mineral note, while long, fine tannins carry the palate. The fruit comes from fifty-year-old, dry-farmed Cinsault in the Western Bekaa, fermented with native yeasts in concrete and aged in neutral French barrels. Pepper, herbs and tannin remain through the finish.

Exotic fruit and floral aromas lead an aromatic white and continue onto the palate. The fruit is juicy, and the finish is mouth-watering. Floral notes remain part of the profile alongside exotic fruit. Lebanese mezze, Spanish tapas and other Mediterranean small plates are the established pairings. The documented character combines aromatic fruit, flowers, a juicy palate and a mouth-watering finish.
