The Barbera comes from a 2.5-hectare, south-facing vineyard planted with eighty-year-old vines on chalk and silex. The grapes are destemmed and cold soaked for forty-eight hours; fermentation is spontaneous and maturation takes place in wood. Alcohol is fifteen percent.
