Pale lemon colour accompanies white flowers, marzipan, white peach, light herbs, pepper, citrus zest and a long mineral finish.

Black and red cherries appear with red plums in a structured, layered Pinot Noir. Meaty tannins accompany the fruit. Energy, balance, ripe cherry and freshness are also present. The Marconnets plot lies at the northern end of Beaune near Savigny-lès-Beaune. It faces south and southeast on clay and limestone. Light woody and smoky notes accompany redcurrant and blackcurrant.

Fermentation took place in barrels, and maturation lasted twenty-six months in new oak.
