Pale gold colour accompanies a fruity nose and a fruit-driven palate with finesse. The blend is two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Chardonnay. Ageing lasts four years, and dosage is 8.6 grams per litre. The cuvée combines base wines from two harvest years. It is the house’s only wine composed of two grape varieties, and its profile is described as both elegant and strong.

About Serge Mathieu
The Mathieu family has lived in Avirey-Lingey since at least the 18th century. They go to great lengths to harvest grapes at optimum ripeness.
In the winery they try to obtain as much personality and flavour from these grapes, which involves a light hand in vinification and careful thinking.
