Domaine du Coulet 2021 Cornas Ogre 750 mL
Sourced from a particularly mineral parcel at Le Serre, the wine is entirely Syrah, grown at 350 metres on heavily degraded granite. Vinification and eighteen months of ageing take place in ovoid and diamond-shaped concrete vessels. The documented profile is highly spiced, tart-fruited and smoky, with granitic aromatics, very fine tannins and an exceptionally fresh finish.

Field berries and wild flowers lead the aroma, followed by raspberry, ripe cherry, cassis and a light anise note.
