Italian Red
Delicate garnet colour accompanies griotte cherry, tobacco, spices and ripe fruit. Freshness, roundness and integrated tannins sit within a long, persistent profile. Further notes of crushed cherry, rose, tar, pomegranate, vanilla and liquorice add detail. The Pinot Nero comes from a vineyard planted in the late nineteen seventies and carries thirteen percent alcohol. The texture is smooth and velvety.
E. Pira & Figli 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo
Italian Red
Ripe raspberry, cherry, earth, sun-dried hay and liquorice accompany a darker mineral note. The Nebbiolo has a rich, broad profile with firm structure and a long, tactile finish. Fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel for six to ten days. The wine then spends twelve months in French barriques before light filtration. Alcohol is fourteen percent.
Au Bon Climat 2021 Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
American Red
Smoky plum, dark fruit, strawberry and melon accompany a deep ruby colour. The Pinot Noir is supple, fruit-forward and rich. Fruit comes from Bien Nacido, Le Bon Climat, Rancho La Cuna, Kick On and Los Alamos vineyards. It spends ten months in French oak, including ten percent new barrels, and carries 13.5 percent alcohol.
De Fermo 2021 Launegild Chardonnay
Italian White
Pear peel, banana, apricot, chamomile, herbs and straw meet a saline note in this Chardonnay. Freshness and smoothness remain in balance. Fruit grows between the Adriatic and Gran Sasso on limestone and clay soils. Soft pressing precedes spontaneous indigenous-yeast fermentation in oak without temperature control, followed by twelve months in tonneau. Straw-yellow colour completes the profile.
Tolaini 2021 Vigna Montebello Sette Chianti Classico Gran Selezione
Italian Red
Cherry fruit, tobacco, leather, liquorice and spice accompany a Sangiovese with tannins, acidity, structure and a long finish. Fruit comes from a north-facing, two-hectare plot in Castelnuovo Berardenga. After selection and destemming, whole berries ferment for forty days in French-oak vessels. The wine matures for twenty-four months in large oak casks and another six months in concrete tanks.

French White
Lemon, green apple, apricot, white flowers and crushed rock accompany orchard and citrus fruit on a mineral profile. The Chardonnay has roundness, energy, acidity and texture, with bitter lemon among the citrus details. Fruit comes from parcels in Nantoux and Auxey-Duresses. The wine spends twelve months in older oak without new barrels, while the vineyard soils contain clay and limestone.
MMAD Vineyard 2021 Blewitt Springs Chenin Blanc

Citrus peel, cumquat, wet stone, hessian and sea spray accompany a long profile with crisp acidity. One third of the hand-picked fruit is whole-bunch pressed to old French-oak puncheons. The remaining grapes receive skin contact and ferment in concrete before transfer to puncheons. The vineyard was planted in nineteen thirty-nine on Maslin sands with ironstone pebbles, and the finished wine carries 12.5 percent alcohol.
Pascal Clément 2021 Bourgogne Chardonnay
French White
Flowers and heather honey sit with a creamy, buttery sensation, nuts, spices and white stone fruit. Chardonnay grapes are pressed as whole bunches, and the wine spends ten months in oak barrels that have been used between one and three times. The finished wine carries 12.7 percent alcohol in a cork-finished bottle. The family's Burgundy roots date to the mid-twentieth century, while its winemaking experience spans more than twenty years.

Lively bubbles accompany yellow apple, brioche and subtle salinity in a bright Chardonnay sparkling wine. The grapes come from Westpoint Vineyard in the Okanagan Valley and were harvested in the first week of September after a hot growing season. Malolactic fermentation was completed, the wine spent twenty-eight months on its lees, and the final dosage was 6.5 grams per litre.
Peter Veyder-Malberg 2021 Wösendorfer Ried Hochrain Grüner Veltliner
Austrian White
Yellow orchard fruit, ginger, white pepper and almond skin accompany mineral notes. The Grüner Veltliner is full-bodied and concentrated, with acidity, dry character and length. Hochrain lies on deep loess. Maturation lasts six months in old 1,500-litre barrels. The wine comes from Wachau, Austria, carries twelve and a half percent alcohol and is made entirely from Grüner Veltliner.
Lingua Franca 2021 Avni Pinot Noir
American Red
Subtle, mouth-filling and rich, with red cherry, black cherry, tea, rose petal, savoury and mineral nuances and a round, plummy texture. More than seventy percent of the Pinot Noir comes from the estate, with the remainder from Eola-Amity Hills vineyards. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented spontaneously with eighteen percent whole clusters before twelve months in French oak and four months in tank.

Ripe black fruit and herbal undertones are joined by soft, ripe tannins. American oak nuances join a fruit structure, with medium length and a short finish. The red wine is dry, made entirely from Syrah and carries fourteen and a half percent alcohol. It comes from Thrace-Marmara in Turkey and uses a natural cork closure.

Pure, juicy cherry appears with mineral, tobacco, wild herb, red cherry, cassis, spice, smoke, liquorice, dried ginger, rusty nail and blood orange. Dense, refined tannins accompany a firm structure. The Nebbiolo comes from Serralunga d'Alba with a small portion from Castiglione Falletto. Red berry, clove, rose petal, white pepper, star anise and orange zest add further detail.

Crunchy lemon, yellow peach and golden apple accompany a refreshing mouthfeel and tangy finish. Stone fruit, citrus and flint appear with lemon acidity and integrated fruit, oak and texture. The Chardonnay comes from four vineyard blocks at Border Vista Vineyard in Osoyoos. Maturation lasts sixteen months in French oak barriques, puncheons and a concrete egg.

Crisp, ultra-dry and lingering character also feature in this Riesling from the Polish Hill Vineyard in South Australia's Clare Valley. The vineyard and winery are certified Organic and Biodynamic. Only free-run juice is used, and the finished wine is unfined and vegan.

Black pepper, nutmeg, mesquite, lavender and dried rose petal appear on the nose beside blueberry, raspberry and blackberry bramble. The palate brings maple, black-cherry reduction, dried sage, chocolate nibs, malt and cinnamon, with juicy acidity and long, dusty tannins. This Pinot Noir comes from the Laurelwood District within Oregon's Willamette Valley in the United States.

Enormously silky and smooth, this Tuscan red shows finesse and elegance. The cuvée uses 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Colorino. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks for about twenty-one days, and malolactic fermentation also occurs in concrete. Ageing covers twenty-four months in Slavonian oak and about three months in bottle. It carries the Toscana IGT designation.
