Adriano Marco e Vittorio 2021 Lice Freisa Langhe

Cherry, strawberry, raspberry and rose meet a fresh, vinous character. The palate has moderate body, present tannins and an easy flow. Freisa comes from the family’s first planting of the variety, a parcel once belonging to an uncle named Felice. Fermentation is spontaneous in stainless steel, with no wood used. The wine is classified as organic and matures in steel and bottle.

About Adriano Marco e Vittorio
The Adriano family's winegrowing story reaches back to the early 1900s, when Giuseppe Adriano worked vines as a tenant farmer. Aldo Adriano acquired the family's first farm at San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, and Marco and Vittorio began bottling under the Adriano label with the 1994 harvest.
The estate now grows and vinifies only its own fruit, with 30 hectares of vines within a broader patchwork of vineyards, hazelnuts, woodland and fallow ground. The vineyards include Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, Sauvignon Blanc and Moscato Bianco.
