AboutAdriano Marco e Vittorio
The Adriano family’s winegrowing story reaches back to the early 1900s, when Giuseppe Adriano worked vines as a tenant farmer. Aldo Adriano acquired the family’s first farm at San Rocco Seno d’Elvio, and Marco and Vittorio began bottling under the Adriano label with the 1994 harvest.
The estate now grows and vinifies only its own fruit, with 30 hectares of vines within a broader patchwork of vineyards, hazelnuts, woodland and fallow ground. The vineyards include Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, Sauvignon Blanc and Moscato Bianco.
Adriano Marco e Vittorio 2021 Lice Freisa Langhe
Cherry, strawberry, raspberry and rose meet a fresh, vinous character. The palate has moderate body, present tannins and an easy flow. Freisa comes from the family’s first planting of the variety, a parcel once belonging to an uncle named Felice. Fermentation is spontaneous in stainless steel, with no wood used. The wine is classified as organic and matures in steel and bottle.
Adriano Basarico 2024 Langhe Sauvignon
Straw yellow with green reflections, this Sauvignon Blanc has a soft, delicate bouquet shaped by fresh fruit and subtle herbal lift. The palate is persistent and gently bright, with measured acidity bringing freshness and poise through a clean finish. Serve with shellfish, herb-led salads or simply grilled white fish.
Adriano Marco e Vittorio 2021 Sanadaive Barbaresco
Red cherry, anise and dried rose lead a poised, aromatic profile, with raspberry, orange rind and earthy notes adding complexity. The palate is fresh and inviting, shaped by fine tannins and an elegant, pure line through the finish. Refined yet approachable, it suits lamb stew, game or mature cheese.
Adriano 2022 Barbera d’Alba DOC Renzo
Dense ruby fruit opens with blackberry and fresh red berries, developing a lightly jammy depth without losing brightness. Full-bodied yet lively, the palate carries a tart edge that sharpens the wine’s fragrance and keeps its richness in balance. Smooth texture and clear acidity lead into a mouthwatering, savoury finish.
