Foppiano 2013 Lot 96 Petite Sirah
Deep purple in colour, with blackberry, currant and freshly baked blueberry-pie aromas. The palate is round and full, with red cherry, nutmeg and cedar, supple tannins, lively acidity and a long spicy finish. Made from Petite Sirah grown in California’s Sonoma County, the wine is full-bodied yet smooth and contains thirteen point nine percent alcohol.
Schug 2012 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Raspberry, strawberry and red cherry appear with spice and a light smoky oak note. Mouthwatering acidity is present. The cuvée is made entirely from Pinot Noir grown in the cool Sonoma Coast, including selected vineyards in western Carneros and the Petaluma Gap. Large neutral oak casks and older French barrels are used, with restrained new-oak flavour and lively acidity through the finish.
Louis M. Martini 2019 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon
Dried flowers and cherries accompany blackcurrant, plum, roasted tobacco leaf and vanilla. The medium-bodied palate has round, creamy tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon is blended with Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petite Sirah. The wine spends sixteen months in French and American oak and carries 14 percent alcohol. Cocoa, pepper, mint, thyme, earth and violet are also present in the profile.
Martin Ray 2020 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Juicy citrus, fresh pear, white flowers and apple skin appear with a touch of minerality. Oak is well integrated, and vanilla bean marks the finish. The Chardonnay comes from Cartan Vineyard and Mill Station Vineyard at Dutton Ranch. Fermentation used both selected and native yeasts, while twenty-five percent new French oak was used. The southern sites have cool day-to-night temperature shifts, while the northern sites are at higher elevations.
Banshee 2021 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Chardonnay has aromas of honey, rice cake, ripe Bosc pear, butterscotch and lemon. Apple pie, lemon tart and caramel appear with moderate weight and depth of flavour. The wine is round and delicate, with bright acidity and a creamy finish. Maturation lasted eight months, with twenty-two percent new French oak and a portion held in stainless steel.
St Francis 2022 Sonoma County Chardonnay
Green apple, juicy pear and melon appear with a background note of marzipan. The wine is refreshing and medium-bodied, with bright acidity, a silky texture and a smooth, mineral finish. Grapes come from estate vineyards in Sonoma Valley and Russian River Valley, along with selected growers in Carneros and Alexander Valley. They are picked at night or early morning, whole-cluster pressed and fermented in separate lots. Ageing lasts six months in French oak, including twenty percent new barrels.
Ridge 2017 Three Valleys Sonoma County Red
Deep garnet colour accompanies fresh raspberry, cherry, barrel spice, clay minerals and mint. Sweet red-berry fruit, lively acidity, supple tannins and a medium body accompany a long finish. The blend is seventy-three percent Zinfandel, fifteen percent Petite Sirah, ten percent Carignane and two percent Grenache. Native primary and malolactic fermentations precede eleven months in American oak, including five percent new barrels.
Kistler 2014 McCrea Vineyard Chardonnay Sonoma Mountain
Pineapple paste, honey-nut, guava, cashews and brioche appear with a satiny texture and zippy acidity. Dried pear, almond, savoury herbs and dried flowers are also present, together with a persistent finish. The vineyard lies on the eastern bench of Sonoma Mountain. Its soils combine volcanic material and limestone. Floral and citrus-blossom aromas and a chalk-like fruit core are part of the site profile.

Wild strawberry, raspberry and cranberry appear with cured meat, wood smoke, forest floor, herbs and truffle. Dark cherry, violet, mushroom and black tea are also present. The palate has a chewy frame, acidity and a long mineral finish. Fermentation uses eighty percent whole clusters and native yeasts. The wine is aged in ten percent new French oak and ninety percent neutral oak, then bottled unfined and unfiltered.
