The palate brings peat smoke into a richer frame of sweet grapes, citrus and toasted oak, with a light coastal breeze keeping the whisky lively. Wine-cask maturation adds fruit without obscuring Ardmore’s earthy character. The finish is persistent and savoury, carrying bonfire ash, oaty biscuit, baking spice, black pepper and cut grass. Serve neat or add water gradually.
