Ardmore Distillery

Light peat smoke and earthy malt lead a savoury Highland profile, with honey, vanilla and fresh citrus adding balance. A combination of peated and unpeated malt keeps the smoke measured, allowing toasted oak, cereal and soft floral notes to remain clear. The palate is full but approachable, moving from barbecue char and grain into cinnamon, sweet honey and creamy vanilla. Citrus lifts the middle and carries into a long finish, where smoke and gentle spice linger. Enjoy neat or with a few drops of water.

Honeyed nuts and toasted brioche open the nose, followed by candied orange, raisins and warm spice. The palate brings peat smoke into a richer frame of sweet grapes, citrus and toasted oak, with a light coastal breeze keeping the whisky lively. Wine-cask maturation adds fruit without obscuring Ardmore’s earthy character. The finish is persistent and savoury, carrying bonfire ash, oaty biscuit, baking spice, black pepper and cut grass. Serve neat or add water gradually.
