$23.99

Black fruit, spice, vanilla, plum and dark berry appear with approachable tannins. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures for up to seven days; malolactic fermentation and twelve months in French oak are also part of production. Vineyard blocks are harvested and vinified separately. The vineyards lie on ancient red-clay loams in Barossa Valley’s warm, dry climate.

About Barossa Valley Estate
Barossa Valley Estate began in 1984, when local growers formed a cooperative to process their fruit amid falling grape prices. Later that year the Valley Growers and Consolidated co-operatives combined under the Barossa Valley Estate name. The winery focuses on red wines: Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache-Shiraz-Mourvèdre and Malbec. Its cellar door sits in Marananga, overlooking the valley, with perennial gardens conceived by Australian landscape designer Paul Bangay.
