About Moraine Estate Winery
Moraine is the Naramata Bench family winery of Oleg and Svetlana, who moved from Edmonton to the Okanagan in 2009. Moraine takes its name from the glacial white-clay bluffs below its lake-facing vineyards and cellar. Three vineyards carry family names: five-acre Sophia, the older ten-acre Anastasia below the winery, and Lily higher on the bench. West-facing slopes receive long hours of sun, tempered by cooling air from Okanagan Lake. Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Syrah and Cabernet Franc are among the grapes grown here.
