Raspberry, cherry and dark plum lead, with spice, savoury sage and an earthy undertone adding depth. The palate is medium-bodied and supple, balancing bright acidity with silky, gently assertive tannins. Red fruit stays clear through the middle, while quiet oak and a lingering savoury note shape a composed finish.

About Kettle Valley Winery
The story of Kettle Valley Winery began with Tim and Janet making wine in an apartment, then moving the hobby into a garage as grape growing entered the picture. By 1987, co-founders Bob Ferguson and Tim Watts had chosen the Naramata Bench and planted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on their first property.
The winery takes its name from the historic railway that ran above its Naramata vineyards. In 2009, it added a 14-acre vineyard in the Similkameen, replanting part of the rocky site to Zinfandel.
