German White
Lime peel, candied lemon, pineapple, white flowers, crushed stone and fresh herbs shape this dry Riesling. The vines grow in deep loess and marl with a high proportion of limestone on a south-east-facing parcel. Natural fermentation takes place in large old oak barrels, with at least eight months on lees. Citrus, salinity, bright acidity, rounded texture and a stony finish are present.
Malgiacca 2021 Bianco Toscana IGT
Italian White
The blend is approximately half Trebbiano, with fifteen percent each of Vermentino and Malvasia; Grechetto, Moscato and other varieties make up the balance. Half the fruit is pressed pneumatically and half in a basket press. Fermentation takes place naturally in stainless steel without temperature control, followed by malolactic fermentation and three months on lees. Floral, fresh, mineral and savoury notes define the profile.

Spanish White
Merseguera and Moscatel de Alejandría make up the blend in proportions of ninety and ten percent. The dry-farmed bush vines at Canyada are more than fifty years old and grow at 540 metres in sandy, calcareous soils. Fermentation takes place with native yeasts in stainless steel, followed by three months of contact with skins and stems. Sulphur is added only at bottling.
Alois Lageder 2022 Versalto Pinot Bianco Alto Adige
Italian White
Pale yellow with green reflections, this dry white has orchard-fruit and mineral notes. Pinot Bianco grows in stony, sandy soils rich in limestone. Whole clusters are pressed before fermentation with native yeasts, and malolactic fermentation is completed. Oak is used for maturation. The profile is fresh and medium structured, and the wine contains eleven point five percent alcohol.
Union Sacré 2022 Sylvaner Santa Maria Valley
American White
Pear flesh, lime curd, lychee, white melon and citrus appear in a dry white wine with a grippy texture. White flowers, Granny Smith apple and Asian pear are also present. The fruit is pressed directly using a four-hour light-pressure cycle. Fermentation takes place on fine lees for three weeks at 55°F, followed by ageing in 500-litre neutral wood puncheons. The wine is bottled unfiltered.
Envínate 2023 Linit Blanco
Spanish White
Old-vine Pardilla, also known as Marisancho, comes from vineyards around Almansa in Castilla-La Mancha. White fruit and Mediterranean herbs appear in a full profile with balanced acidity and a lingering finish. The wine is sold without a denomination of origin and is aged in barrel. Four winemakers work together on the project: Laura Ramos, José Martínez, Roberto Santana and Alfonso Torrente.
Domaine de la Pépière 2022 Clisson Muscadet Sèvre et Maine
French White
Cooked fruit, ripe citrus, honey and quince appear in a rich profile with exceptional finesse. Melon de Bourgogne comes from the Clisson Valley, where granite subsoil is covered by gravel, sand, clay and river stones. The vines are farmed organically and biodynamically. After pressing and fermentation, the lees are stirred in tank, and maturation lasts at least two years.
Frog’s Leap 2020 Chardonnay Napa Valley
American White
White peach, hazelnut and restrained reductive aromas sit above a palate with fresh acidity, weight and minerality. Chardonnay comes from a steep Carneros vineyard planted in nineteen seventy-nine. Indigenous yeasts begin fermentation in new French oak barrels; after four to five days, the wine is racked to concrete to finish fermenting. It rests on the lees for up to ten months and contains thirteen point four percent alcohol.
Jermann 2022 Pinot Grigio Friuli DOC
Italian White
Fresh orchard fruit, white flowers, lemon-drop candy and crushed stone appear with lemon zest, green apple skin and wild green herbs. The palate has lively acidity and a lime-toned finish. Pinot Grigio is fermented as a white wine and spends about six months on its lees in stainless steel before bottle ageing. The wine is dry, velvety and fragrant, with thirteen percent alcohol.
Broc Cellars 2019 Amore Bianco Tocai Friulano
American White
Tocai Friulano comes from Fox Hill Vineyard in Mendocino and is grown organically. Native yeasts carry out fermentation, no sulphur is added, and the wine is left unfiltered. The fermented juice is pumped off the skins, which are pressed in a basket press. The wine is then returned to sandstone jars for ageing. Production totalled forty-two cases.
Bouchard Père & Fils 2022 Bourgogne Aligoté
French White
Lemon, green apple and white flowers define the aromatic profile. The palate is straightforward and airy, with lively acidity and a fresh finish. Aligoté receives gentle pressing and gravity handling; fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks. The fruit comes from plots farmed under strict environmental standards, with herbicides excluded and biodiversity supported through hedgerows and grassy strips. The finished wine contains thirteen percent alcohol.
Pepe Mendoza 2021 Pureza Moscatel de Alejandría
Spanish White
Freshly cut rose, jasmine and orange blossom accompany preserved lemon, cardamom, fermented lime skin and briny notes. The palate is broad and textured, with fresh acidity and saline character. Moscatel de Alejandría is macerated with skins, fermented with native yeasts in small clay amphorae, then returned to amphora for six months. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration and contains twelve and a half percent alcohol.
Bottazzi 2016 Monterosso Colli Tortonesi Timorasso
Italian White
Ripe yellow fruit and citrus sit within an intense, concentrated profile. The palate is bone dry, with fresh acidity and a full body. Timorasso ferments and ages in stainless-steel tanks. Native yeasts carry out fermentation, while slow natural sedimentation reduces the need for filtration. Herbaceous, floral and fruity aromas are joined by salinity, minerality and a light flint or hydrocarbon character that develops with bottle age.
Matteo Correggia 2019 La Val dei Preti Roero Arneis Riserva DOCG
Italian White
Golden yellow colour accompanies resin, acacia honey, hay, balsamic and mineral notes, with a hydrocarbon detail. The palate is fresh, savoury and persistent, with a long mineral finish. Made entirely from Arneis, seventy percent of the lot is softly pressed in stainless steel and thirty percent is skin-macerated. The wine then spends six months in stainless steel and six years in bottle.
Peter Veyder-Malberg 2020 Wachauer Liebedich Grüner Veltliner
Austrian White
The wine draws from four terraced vineyards: Bruck, Schön, Buschenberg and Hochrain. Most are rooted in primary rock, while one vineyard has loess soil. The sites are too small to bottle separately, so they come together as a cross-section of Wachau. Made from Grüner Veltliner, the vineyards are certified organic and much of the terrace work is done by hand.
Schiopetto 2020 Friulano Collio DOC
Italian White
Bright straw yellow with gold-green reflections, the wine carries pear, apricot, almond and wildflowers. Its full-bodied palate combines freshness with marine notes. Made entirely from Friulano grown on hilly Eocene marl, the grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation lasts ten to twelve days in stainless steel, followed by eight months in tank and at least five months in bottle.
Domaine Philippe & Vincent Jaboulet 2020 Crozes-Hermitage Blanc
French White
Freshness and lightness define this Marsanne, with honeysuckle and Canada apple. Fine citrus zest, a measured sense of weight, discreet oak and butter are also present. Made entirely from Marsanne, the dry white comes from Crozes-Hermitage. The producer's vineyards and cellar sit three kilometres south of Tain-l'Hermitage, within the northern Rhône landscape surrounding the Hermitage appellation.
Domaine Séguinot-Bordet 2022 Chablis
French White
Pale gold with green reflections, the wine carries ripe peach, apricot, verbena, woodland and pine-cone notes. Lemon, fennel, white flowers and minerality are also present. The palate is pure, direct and crystalline, with citrus freshness and biscuit detail. Made entirely from Chardonnay, it matures on its lees in stainless-steel tanks, and the wine is dry.
Mandirola 1913 2021 Derthona Colli Tortonesi Timorasso
Italian White
Deep straw colour accompanies medicinal herbs and yellow peach. The wine is made entirely from Timorasso grown on southwest-facing slopes of clay and grey limestone. Grapes are harvested by hand, gently pressed and fermented under temperature control. Maturation lasts at least twelve months on fine lees in concrete. Mineral notes, ripe plum and toasted almond are also present.
Château Lamery 2019 Sémillant Vin de France
French White
Fruit, light oxidative notes, acidity and extraction shape this dry Sémillon. Grapes are harvested by hand from old vines and fermented in small concrete vats without added sulphur. The wine spends nine months on its lees in old oak, without topping, racking, fining or filtration, then four months in concrete for blending. The vineyard is farmed organically and biodynamically, and the wine is classified as natural.
Bressia 2020 Lágrima Canela
Argentinian White
Apple, citrus, vanilla and caramel appear with oak, a creamy texture and a grippy, rounded middle palate. The blend is seventy percent Chardonnay and thirty percent Sémillon from Mendoza's Uco Valley. Fermentation takes place in French oak, followed by eight to ten months of barrel maturation. Waxed lemon, saffron, beeswax, baking spice and toast are joined by fresh acidity and a tangy finish.
Château de Rhodes 2022 Mauzac Ondenc Gaillac
French White
White flowers, white-fleshed fruit and a gentle spice note appear in a fresh, taut dry white, with salinity and tension on the finish. Mauzac and Ondenc are grown organically within Gaillac. Native yeasts are used across the estate, with fermentation carried out in temperature-controlled concrete vats. Additions are kept low, fining is used only when needed, and filtration is generally limited to one pass before bottling.
Domaine Achillée Alsace Macéré 2022/2023
French White
Moderate orange-yellow colour and natural turbidity accompany citrus, lemon, blood orange, peach, white pepper and conifer sap. The palate has present acidity, a slight spritz, fine tannins, bitter orange, nutmeg, cedar and a saline finish. Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and Sylvaner are grown on mainly sandy-gravel soils. One third undergoes about five days of whole-cluster maceration; two thirds are direct pressed, then aged in stainless steel without filtration.
Il Roccolo di Monticelli 2019 Di Rado Bianco
Italian White
Golden colour carries citrus aromas, a light yeasty note, fine bitters and gentle astringency. Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave come from old vines established in the nineteen-seventies on a limestone hill with exposed rock. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. Extended skin maceration is followed by nine months in stainless steel and at least two years in bottle, without filtration or added sulphur.
Domaine des Carlines 2020 La Vouivre Côtes du Jura
French White
Meyer lemon, apple cider and yellow pear appear with candied ginger and spiced walnut. Ripe white fruit, fine spice, salted almond and light oxidative notes are also present. The palate is dense and mineral, with richness and a long finish. The blend is seventy percent Chardonnay and thirty percent Savagnin, naturally fermented and matured in used 225-litre Burgundy barrels, with a small portion raised under flor.
M.A. Monticelli 2022 Roero Arneis DOCG
Italian White
Made from Arneis in Roero, this is a dry white from Piedmont. The project works with the Franco Conterno family at Cascina Sciulun in Bussia di Monforte d'Alba. Vineyards used by the winery lie between 250 and 400 metres, with clay, sand and silt soils and south to south-west exposure. Native fermentations combine modern equipment with traditional cellar practices.
Inama 2023 Vigneti di Foscarino Soave Classico
Italian White
Intense straw-yellow colour shows flint reflections. Slightly smoky notes sit with sage, myrtle and tangerine, while the palate is juicy, dry and smooth. Yellow field flowers, spring blossom, wet flint, lemon-drop candy, graphite and bitter almond are also present. Garganega from Soave Classico was fermented and aged in oak for six months, developing structure and volume.
S.A. Prüm 2016 Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Spätlese
German White
Grapefruit, white and yellow peach, earthy spices, herbs and lemony whipped cream form the aromatic profile. The palate is delicately creamy, while the finish is long and feather-light, with whipped cream, passion fruit and melon. Ripe fruit, peach, apricot, mineral character and balance are also present. Measured acidity is 7.6 grams per litre. The wine contains 7.5% alcohol.
Mark Haisma 2015 Saint-Romain Chardonnay
French White
Fine citrus, white peach and spice form a detailed, fresh profile with grip. Faint oak, layers and weight accompany acidity that builds slowly and a growing mineral dimension in the long finish. Two Saint-Romain vineyards were combined in this ripe year to preserve freshness. The wine is made entirely from Chardonnay and has a straw-yellow colour.
Pietradolce 2021 Archineri Etna Bianco DOC
Italian White
The aroma is full and distinct, with white peach, lemon, lime and sage. The mouthfeel is intense, with stony, chalky minerals and fine texture from gentle lees stirring. Carricante comes from vines more than a century old, planted on sandy loam above 850 metres on Etna. Grapefruit, herbs, freshness and a long finish are also present. The wine contains 13.5% alcohol.
