The Bricker Cider Company opened in West Sechelt in 2017, inspired by a family orchard and Grandma Anne. Her maiden name, Bricker, became the name of the cidery. The business remains family owned and operated from a five-acre Sunshine Coast farm.
British Columbia apples form the base of the ciders, with raspberries, hops and tea among the additions used across the range. More than twenty seasonal ciders are released each year alongside the permanent range.

Vanilla Lord Grey and classic Earl Grey teas from Davis Bay Tea Company are infused into a full-bodied apple cider. Citrus, vanilla and caramel notes unfold around the tea's firm tannin, giving the palate aromatic depth and a distinctly dry, astringent finish. The result is structured and quietly savoury rather than overtly sweet. Serve chilled with roast pork, hard cheese, pâté or lightly spiced dishes.

Inspired by the classic sparkling-wine and blackcurrant cocktail, this cider takes a naturally sweet, orchard-led direction. Fermentation is stopped early through keeving, preserving the apple juice's own sweetness and giving the palate a soft, rounded feel. Bright fruit and gentle bubbles keep the style fresh despite its sweeter profile. Serve well chilled with pâté, soft cheese, fruit tarts or lightly spiced dishes.

A half-and-half blend of British Columbia apples and pears is fermented, then matured for three months in French oak barrels previously used for Chardonnay. Pear fruit gives the palate a naturally rounded impression, while the oak adds polish and gentle structure. Bright flavours lead into a smooth, crisp finish with restrained barrel character. Serve chilled with roast poultry, pork, nutty cheese or pear tart.

Peaches are added during fermentation to bring ripe stone-fruit flavour to the apple-cider base. Lactose, the natural sugar found in milk, contributes sweetness and the rounded, creamy mouthfeel suggested by the style. The result is soft and fruit led, with fresh apple character holding the richer texture in balance. Contains lactose. Serve chilled with roast pork, spicy food, soft cheese or peach desserts.

Heritage apples from the original family orchard are joined by fruit donated from across the Sunshine Coast, then partly wild fermented and aged in wine barrels. The result has a distinctly English-inspired, lightly rustic character, with dry orchard fruit, firm tannin and a measured astringent bite. A scrumpy-like edge adds savoury depth without obscuring the apples. Serve lightly chilled with pork pie, mature cheddar, roast pork or mushroom dishes.
