Mission Hill
AboutMission Hill
Anthony von Mandl acquired Golden Valley winery in 1981 and renamed it Mission Hill. The West Kelowna estate has a stone courtyard, bell tower and barrel cellars carved into volcanic rock.
Oculus is its flagship wine, alongside the Reserve and Legacy collections. Following the Okanagan freeze, selected 2024 wines drew on partner vineyards in California, Oregon and New Zealand.
Mission Hill 2021 Reserve Merlot
Canadian Red
Wild blackberry and dark cherry rise from a structured, full-bodied palate. Ripe dark fruit is framed by refined tannins, with French oak adding measured depth rather than overt sweetness. Rich yet composed through the middle, it closes on a persistent, polished finish. Decant briefly and serve with grilled steak, roast lamb, braised beef or firm aged cheese.
Mission Hill 2016 Quatrain Okanagan Valley

Decant for an hour and serve with braised beef, lamb or grilled mushrooms.
Mission Hill 2024 Reserve Rosé Grown in California
American Rosé
Strawberry, watermelon and red fruit appear in a light pink-orange wine. The texture is creamy, with balanced acidity, a clean finish and subtle mineral notes. Merlot, Shiraz and Pinot Noir make up the blend. The fruit came from Petaluma Gap in California. This release joined the Reserve Series as the winery's replacement rosé for the season.
Mission Hill Family Estate 2004 Oculus

This Bordeaux-inspired red comes from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia and is presented in a 750 mL bottle.
