Black cherry and blackcurrant meet chocolate and a touch of spice in this Merlot-led blend. The palate is dry and savoury, with a firm tannic frame and a delicate floral lift on the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc complete the blend, giving this Okanagan red a balance of dark fruit, fragrance and structure.

About Mission Hill
Anthony von Mandl acquired Golden Valley winery in 1981 and renamed it Mission Hill. The West Kelowna estate has a stone courtyard, bell tower and barrel cellars carved into volcanic rock.
Oculus is its flagship wine, alongside the Reserve and Legacy collections. Following the Okanagan freeze, selected 2024 wines drew on partner vineyards in California, Oregon and New Zealand.
