Blackcurrant and blueberry give Compendium its dark fruit core, with liquorice, mint and dark chocolate adding depth. The palate is rich and firmly structured, balancing concentrated fruit with substantial tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon leads this blend with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, grown in Osoyoos and Oliver and matured for thirteen months in French oak.

About Mission Hill
Anthony von Mandl acquired Golden Valley winery in 1981 and renamed it Mission Hill. The West Kelowna estate has a stone courtyard, bell tower and barrel cellars carved into volcanic rock.
Oculus is its flagship wine, alongside the Reserve and Legacy collections. Following the Okanagan freeze, selected 2024 wines drew on partner vineyards in California, Oregon and New Zealand.
