Merlot accounts for seventy-four percent of the blend, joined by Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. About Mission Hill
Anthony von Mandl acquired Golden Valley winery in 1981 and renamed it Mission Hill. The West Kelowna estate has a stone courtyard, bell tower and barrel cellars carved into volcanic rock. Oculus is its flagship wine, alongside the Reserve and Legacy collections. Following the Okanagan freeze, selected 2024 wines drew on partner vineyards in California, Oregon and New Zealand.
