Pineapple, apricot, peach and floral notes accompany citrus and spice in this aromatic white blend. The palate is slightly off-dry, with a round mouthfeel and balanced acidity. Viognier, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Orange Muscat and Roussanne make up the blend. Apple, pear and rose petal are also present, and the wine has a full-bodied profile.

Golden apple, apricot and candied peach appear with a floral bouquet and creamy mousse. White peach and jasmine are also present, while sweetness and zippy acidity remain in balance. The finish is long, vibrant and clean. Moscato Bianco comes from steep old vineyards planted from nineteen sixty-five onward between Mango and Santo Stefano Belbo. The fruit is gently pressed and fermented in small batches. Alcohol is five and a half percent.

Gewürztraminer supplies spice, Pinot Gris body, Riesling finesse, Muscat a grapey character, and Pinot Blanc and Sylvaner refreshment. The grapes are harvested by hand from clay and limestone soils around Riquewihr. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats between eighteen and twenty-four degrees Celsius. Natural clarification and light filtration precede cellar ageing. The wine contains thirteen-point-five percent alcohol and 4.4 grams per litre of residual sugar.

Crisp, light and zippy, with delicate aromatics and subtle mineral notes. Spice is also present, while Riesling and Pinot Gris contribute structure and underlying citrus. The finish is dry and persistent. The blend contains thirty percent Muscat, twenty-six percent Riesling, twenty-four percent Gewürztraminer and twenty percent Pinot Gris. Fruit comes from both the Similkameen and Okanagan valleys.

Lime leaf, rose petal and orange blossom appear with peach, melon, salted anise and citrus. The body is light, with a dry-leaning profile and five grams per litre of residual sugar. Moscato Giallo comes from the home vineyard on the Naramata Bench in the Okanagan Valley. Alcohol is ten-point-eight percent, and the wine was produced in British Columbia.

Cloudy golden-amber in colour, with apricot, green apple, pine, young peas, white flowers, lemon and tangerine pith in the profile. The palate is lightly oily and slightly grippy, and the finish is fresh and textural with thyme and white pepper. The blend combines Pinot Blanc, Roussanne, Muscat, Grüner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Fermentation on the skins lasts two months in stainless steel, followed by seven months in used puncheons.

This Canadian sparkling wine contains ten and a half percent alcohol.

Four months on fine lees and five months in tank precede bottling.

Half Grüner Veltliner is joined by equal quarter portions of Riesling and Gelber Muskateller. Part of the fruit is whole-bunch pressed, while other lots are destemmed or foot-trodden before nine months on lees.

Muscat d’Alsace accounts for eighty-five percent of the blend, with fifteen percent Muscat Ottonel. The thirty-seven-year-old vines grow on gravelly silt and loam at the edge of Herrenweg de Turckheim, where the microclimate is warm. Fermentation was quick and finished bone dry. Pale yellow-green colour accompanies delicate floral aromas, an airy texture and soft velvet on the palate. The profile has tannic structure and a long finish.

Fresh lime, star anise and pineapple appear in a lively, crisp profile. The palate is balanced, with a rich, voluptuous mouthfeel and aromatic character. Made from Muscat grapes in Alsace, this white wine contains twelve percent alcohol. It can be served as an aperitif or alongside salmon, asparagus, veal in cream, pear tart or lemon-meringue tart.

Tangerine rind, peach tea and apricot blossom meet fresh kumquat, salted grapefruit, dandelion and lemon oil. Muscat and Chardonnay were harvested together from organically farmed vines in Kaleden, then hand-destemmed and fermented with wild yeast. Six days of skin contact preceded basket pressing into stainless steel. The wine was hand-bottled unfined and unfiltered after a small sulphur addition.

Orange Muscat grapes are dried in a sheltered room for about four months before crushing and pressing. The concentrated must ferments slowly in oak barrels for almost two years. Amber in colour, the wine carries apricot and orange-peel aromas. The variety ripens later than Canelli Muscat and has a thick skin, with pronounced aroma and flavour.

Bright pale-green colour accompanies fresh, easy-drinking Muscat grape aromas in this old-vine selection from Alsace. The producer places it in a Prestige range of fruit-driven wines drawn from older vines. The aromatic white is suited to aperitif service and can accompany marinated herring or mackerel, smoked fish, shellfish and spiced dishes. Serve it between eight and ten degrees Celsius.
Weingut Malat 2020 RAW Gelber Muskateller Orange Wine

Cloudy orange in colour, the wine combines ripe peach, apricot, grapefruit, white flowers, smoke and nutmeg. It is dry and piquant, with crisp acidity, tart yellow fruit and a creamy, yeasty texture. Gelber Muskateller is fermented on its skins, matured for six months in large old wooden casks and bottled unfiltered, with no sulphur added. Alcohol is ten percent.
Patrick Bouju 2019 Môl
French Red
Syrah, Carignan, Merlot, Cinsault, Muscat and Gamay make up this red blend. Organic fruit comes from Auvergne and Languedoc. Fermentation begins spontaneously in fibreglass, with the Syrah partly destemmed and the remaining grapes kept as whole clusters under naturally formed carbon dioxide. Maceration lasts ten days. Ageing lasts nine months in tank, and the wine is bottled without fining, filtration or additions.

Grapefruit and plum appear with orange blossom, honeysuckle, nutty nuances and resin. The palate is ample, and the finish is persistent, fresh and mineral. The blend contains Chardonnay, Maccabeu, Muscat and Vermentino. Fruit was harvested by hand in boxes and sorted at the cellar. Whole clusters were gently pressed, indigenous yeasts were used without additions, and maturation lasted seven months in stainless steel and wood.

Merlot accounts for fifty-four percent of the blend, with thirty-seven percent Pinot Gris and nine percent Muscat. The Merlot receives nine days of carbonic maceration, while Pinot Gris and Muscat are co-fermented whole-cluster for two weeks. After seven months in stainless steel, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Production totals ninety-five cases, and alcohol is 12.2 percent.

Floral notes characterize the fortified wine base. Muscat and Vermentinu are used, and all sweetness comes from grape must used for the mistelle. Citrus and cedrat appear on the nose and palate, with quinine bitterness in a fresh, zesty profile. The red counterpart is drier. The blend contains seventeen percent alcohol and no added colour, and it is made in Corsica.

It is made in Corsica, where the two grape varieties are native to the Cap Corse region.

Dry, mineral, warm and stony, the wine has a cold, vertical texture with breadth, strength and a salivating quality. Noble bitterness appears on the sharp finish. The field planting combines Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot, Muscat and Pinot Noir. The gravelly white soil has a marked water deficit, while the older vineyard is managed with very short pruning, ploughing and composting. Serve at 10°C.

Almond, citrus zest and toasted detail accompany an aromatic profile and an acid structure. The 1.6-hectare vineyard lies at Bergheim between Gruenspiel and Rotenberg on lacustrine clay. Muscat is planted alongside members of the Pinot family, and noble rot is part of the site record. The wine is soft and rich, with a tonic, refreshing character.

It finishes fresh and persistent, leaving citrus, peach and a clean floral echo.
