Vignalta 2004 Alpianæ Fior d’Arancio Passito 375 mL

$44.99

Orange Muscat grapes are dried in a sheltered room for about four months before crushing and pressing. The concentrated must ferments slowly in oak barrels for almost two years. Amber in colour, the wine carries apricot and orange-peel aromas. The variety ripens later than Canelli Muscat and has a thick skin, with pronounced aroma and flavour.

About Vignalta
Lucio Gomiero founded Vignalta in Veneto’s Euganean Hills in 1980. Since 1994, the estate’s grapes have been made into wine in a cellar cut into the rock at Arquà Petrarca. The Guzzo and Salvagnin families later joined the business. The vineyards lie on volcanic and limestone slopes, with grape varieties matched to individual plots and a restrained approach to winemaking.
