Ricco Bambino 2019 La Serpiente S Blanc

An energetic skin-contact Sauvignon Blanc with grapefruit, ripe lemon and passionfruit, lifted by subtle hay-field notes. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with bright acidity giving the tropical and citrus fruit a clean, balanced shape. Lightly textured but never heavy through the finish, it works well with goat cheese, grilled vegetables, shellfish or gently spiced dishes.

About Ricco Bambino
Jason Alton opened Ricco Bambino in downtown Kelowna in 2018, combining an urban winery with a wine bar. Working fermentation tanks shared the space with guests amid a bright, garden-like interior. Matt Dumayne was the winemaker at launch, working with British Columbia fruit. The public winery and bar closed permanently in September 2022 after four years.
