Pepper and warm spice frame a concentrated core of dark fruit. The palate is broad and generous, carrying black cherry, plum and a touch of liquorice through a smooth, mature texture. Firm but resolved tannins give the sweetness shape rather than weight. The finish is long and warming, leaving dark berries, cocoa, spice and a gently savoury echo.
