Dark cherry, blackberry and dried fig mingle with toffee, cocoa, cedar and warm spice. Full-bodied and smooth, the palate is sweet and rounded, with ripe dark fruit held by integrated structure rather than heaviness. Liquorice and earthy notes carry through a gently warming finish. Decant carefully and serve with Stilton, walnuts or dark chocolate.

Smith Woodhouse has been a specialist producer of premium-quality Ports since 1784 when Christopher Smith, Lord Mayor of London, created a small company to ship Port from the Douro valley. Smith was joined a few years later by the Woodhouse brothers. Through the last 200 years, this small Port Company has been built a reputation for outstanding Vintage Ports.
